The speaker quality is good for the price. I just wanted it as a sleep aid and it works well however I suggest you have a look at a Youtube demo to see how it works. It is quite simple when you know how but the instructions that come with it are next to useless. You have a number of sound choices, volume and various timer settings starting at 30 mins. I think you can also use it as a speaker but haven't tried this.

Purchased for our new borns bedroom. Tried to find white noise machines in jbhifi/Harvey Norman with no luck. Excellent machine. Not super intuitive with only four buttons but straight forward to function with turning on, changing the recorded sound and turning volume up/down. Haven’t figured out how to reset the clock yet but we don’t use that. This is used in lieu of Alexa dot v2 which would cut out/lose connection when playing white noise on Spotify. A stable noise to not wake up our child is super important and this does exactly what we needed it to do. Great product. Haven’t used the Bluetooth speaker function or countdown/timers. Simply turn it on and turn it off with the same “rain noise”.

I returned it, the sound quality wasn't as good as my LectroFan and I found the buttons too confusing. As in "I will never be able to throw out the instruction manual" confusing. As in "programming your VCR in the 80s" confusing. Not sure why they didn't just add a few more buttons to make it easier to work.... Too bad because I like the idea of it being a Bluetooth speaker.
