Posting under husband’s account :) These fit a half size large, I’d say. I’m usually a 9 but ordered 8.5 based on reviews, and I’m glad I did. They don’t hurt my feet but they aren’t cushioned inside. The inside is a vinyl or plastic like material, so if you go bare with these, feet will get sweaty. I’m going to try my little foot hosiery with them. They don’t rub the backs of my heels like some have described. I love the flannel material and knot detail.

Man, I REALLY wanted to love these. I do love these lookswise, but they absolutely kill my feet. They are flat and hard inside, which caused me massive amounts of pain the the balls of my feet and shooting pain into my toe joints. I did get them on a super sale for less than $14, so it's not that big of a deal to try some foot pads. I did try some insoles but they elevated my heel too high and caused my foot to slip out. It's a shame because they look so nice!

I read the reviews before ordering. Most were positive, but one lady commented that the toes were too narrow and the heel too wide. I found this to be true. I have narrow feet that have "spread somewhat" as I have grown older. These shoes were uncomfortable, and I don't see that another size would fit better, so I returned them. They are attractive, but I don't think they would be comfortable, even if they fit.

These shoes are cute but not comfortable as I thought they would be. I brought them so I could have some cute shoes to walk in other than sneakers while doing some sight seeing. The soles are hard as a rock and my feet were hurting after walking in them for about 45 minutes. For $38 they are not worth it to me. I probably won’t wear them much anymore. Maybe to the store or something but that’s it.

They are super cute! They fit as expected, TTS.
I just don't think they are THE MOST comfortable shoes. They are ok.
They hurt terribly the 1st few times I wore them, so it takes a while to break them in. Just recently wore them in SD (lots of walking) and I survived, but I couldn't wait to put on a different pair of shoes for the evening, and when I took my dog for walks and to the dog parks.
So, all in all, I would recommend them for running around, casual Friday at the office, daytime outfit. Something like that. BUT, I probably wouldn't wear them for a day at Disneyland or anything. :/
Oh, and my feet get pretty hot in there. I always wear little ped socks though.
