A great start to a new series

WOW this is a book that draws you in and keeps you engaged When I started reading it I just expected another vampire romance but it is so much more The characters are multi dimensional and the story flows so well I am now a convert to this authors work and will be looking for more of their work.

Lydia's life is just a drag she is caring for Jacie her six year old daughter who is dying of cancer and at the same time she is working she is rushing home to relieve the nurse that cares fer her while she is at work when she is attacked in a dark alley The attacked is a vampire who wants her blood as unbeknown to her her ancestors have give her blood that is special All seems lost until Roman another vampire steps into save her. As romance blooms between Roman an Lydia and her life changes has she learns more about the supernatural world than she ever expected to Do her and Roman have a future be prepared for an ending you never saw coming.

This is the first book I have read by Ditter Kellen and I absolutely loved it. I couldn’t put it down. The book took me on a rollercoaster of emotion. The characters are strong and even the secondary characters have strength to them.
The book got me from chapter one and kept me engrossed through to the end.
I look forward to reading more books from Ditter Kellen

I am so freaking mad that I left this book on my TBR pile for so long! It was awesome! I loved the characters and I loved the story. It's action packed, heart wrenching and sexy as all get out. Be prepared for an emotional roller coaster ride with this book. I had a few ugly cries which is becoming quite the habit of mine when it comes to this author's work but I also had several LOL moments which happens just as frequently in her books.

As much as I loved the hero Roman (although I wouldn't kick him outta bed for eating crackers if you know what I mean. *winks*) I have to say the bad guy stole the show for me. Simon is... well, Simon. LOL I won't spoil it for you, just trust me on this and read the book. You'll understand afterwards and be just as impatient as I am for his story. This was a great series starter and as usual I can't wait to see what comes next!

This book was an engaging, dramatic, erotic, heart grabbing adventure! The plot and flow of the book are flawless. From someone who finds themselves easily bored with predictable plots I found myself surprised several times. The main characters as well as the secondary characters are vivid and they pull the reader into the story, and sex scenes burn the pages of your ereader!

This was a fantastic read and I enjoyed every minute. I was not familiar with this author beforehand but I will definitely be looking for more of her books. If you like your vampires sexy, your action exciting and your sex scorching then don't miss this one.

I have received this book for candid review. This book was a pleasure to read as it is 1:30 am and I am still reeling over what a great read this book was and so excited that book 2 is in the works!
The story is of Lydia who is in the middle of her everyday struggles of life and as a single mother who gets thrown into the world of the paranormal all of which she thought was fictional only to find out up close and personal just how real the paranormal really are. Now fighting for both her daughter and her life she must find out who she can trust to help protect them both.
This story was beyond fantastic! The ending which I will not even hint to was better then I could have imagined. I laughed, cried, went through some serious nervous moments where everything had to be put on hold until I knew everyone in the book I cared about was safe. All I can say is I need an immediate eta on book 2!
I highly recommend this book!

I have a great epic time reading this book by Ditter Kellen . This story start off with action where Lydia is rushing to get home to her daughter that is dying of cancer at the age of 6. She has a nurse taking care over her while she is at work. As she is walking home she gets attacked by a rogue vampire with agenda that Lydia had no idea she was being searched for. Something from her ancestors blood line. She is saved by Roman another Vampire but she winds up falling in love with Roman. Where Roman is so attracted to her for her blood line reminded him of an old ancestor Lone. Who she was compare to. Both are fighting to get Lydia blood. But one is wanting it to take over for evil and other is wanting to protect her from that evil. This book is very fast and very intriguing there never a dull moment in the book. You just keep reading. I don't want to give up too much, but can Lydia make it home in time to be there for Jacie? Will Simon the evil Vampire find her and take her to do his evil plot of taking over to be more powerful because of Lydia's bloodline. This book has so much action as well as some pretty hot sex erotica pages that will make you blush but also get you hot. Description of the story plays well in the story as I can see it happening in my head as I am reading. This Author is very good with words and how the story flows. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. There is so much more I am leaving out so you will have to find out for yourself. But I will leave you with this. What would you do for a love of a child that is dying would you go to the dark side or will you remain human to live your life. Love is a powerful emotion and this story taps right into it how strong it is, Love at first site, or love at first bite? Ditter Kellen had given me a copy of this book for my honest review. I am going to keep my eye out for her new books.. I have to know what happens. You will too... trust me if you are into paranormal, erotica, romance, vampire, love stories, action,, you will be begging for more.
