About the author

Lashell Collins is an American author of romantic suspense. She walks to the beat of her own drum, but that’s okay ’cause she’s got a pretty good sense of rhythm. Basically, she’s a geeky, quirky, laid-back, music-loving kinda girl who’s married to a retired cop, motorcycle-riding, bad-boy alpha all her own, and she likes to write about sexy men who are sworn to uphold the law.
When she’s not busy tapping away on her laptop and living vicariously through her characters, she can usually be found watching Star Trek, listening to music, playing with her two Bernese Mountain Dogs, Gus & Gracie, stuffing her face full of Chinese food, or riding on the back of her husband’s Harley-Davidson.
Between her book characters and the ones she knows in real life, her plate stays pretty full. But she loves to hear from readers, so give her a shout sometime!

Definitely recommend reading this series.

A case concerning young girls comes back to haunt Isaac. It has been seven years, but the major clues in the current cases are the same. Now one of the clues is personal, and calls out Isaac by name. This is number 4 in the series, but I’m fairly sure it would stand on its own. Though I would recommend every story – they are amazing.
The relationship between our main characters is fascinating. The family relationships need some repair, and the work partnerships are tenuous due to the “oddness” because of the inability to touch. It is absolutely captivating and will keep you glued to the page!!

I was glad to see how Sidney's character developed throughout the series. Even Isaac was growing in his abilities too.
I liked the developing relationships in the book between Pete and Jada.
I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
