This is a warm little secure-giving bed for a smallish Kitty. My smallish adult male used it a couple times, but I could tell it was an exact fit - not room for him to stretch out. Still, each time (twice) he slept the whole night in it. Then, shortly after, we decided to make him our own cat and let him in the house, so in all fairness, he’s no longer sleeping outside, choosing instead to sleep each night with us. Still, if outside, I’m sure that even with his size he would want to sleep in it during cold nights. He was sound asleep when he did use it. Update: July 27 2020: a couple weeks ago our cat has rediscovered it and I brought it inside and on top of a dresser. He’s snuggled in it several nights and mornings a week - when he chooses not to be in bed with us. He’s 14 lbs and looks so comfortable! I’m attaching photos to give an idea (sure, they’re cute, but those three photos the lady posted of her kitten take the CAKE!)

My boys love this bed! I only purchased one bed at 1st bcuz I wanted to be sure they'd both like it. My cats weigh 12-14lbs. They have plenty of curl up room.Reviewed in the United States on 31 January 2020
For a newly purchased bed it might help to spray it with liquid catnip. This coaxes the cat to inspect/roll or lay in it.

My black cat prefers to sleep on black surfaces, so I flip it over for him so the bottom black side is up. The photo of him was taken literally about 15 minutes after I took it out of the package and I didn’t have to use catnip to get him to like it. He just crawled in and laid down for a cat nap. I should probably get another one now since my other little girl kitty loves it, too, but my male cat decided he loved the Amazon cardboard box so much that I kept it and put a black t-shirt in it and it’s his favorite spot to nap now. It’s kinda like when you buy an expensive toy for your children, but they only care to play with the wrapping paper from the gift. Lol, good quality though and the cats do love it.

My cat prefers sleeping on the floor rather than in her condo so I wanted to get her a bed or basket to make her more comfortable. Zelda is infamously picky when it comes to just about everything and the new bed was no exception. After about 20mins of curious staring and sniffing, she went to curl up on it and stayed in for a good 10mins. I figured that it might have a weird smell to her, so I cut a portion of a towel she likes to lay on and put it in her bed, also letting her know it was hers. The next day, she took a long nap in it, but didn't show any interest in it afterwards.Reviewed in the United States on 4 July 2020
I think it smells of plastic or something and that's why Zelda's avoiding it. I haven't washed it yet, but if the towel doesn't work, I'll stick it in the wash to see if that makes a difference.
