Product Description

There's only one thing more powerful than an addiction...

How do you go on living when everything's been taken away from you?
You move... Far away... And bury the past...

But there's something I can't hide. When I land a new teaching job and stumble into class, I pray my students won't notice that I can barely hold myself together. But I can't fool Colter. He sees right through me. He knows the truth that I'm fighting to keep a secret.

I dismiss his attempts to help me. After all, I'm the teacher and he is my student. But Colter is hard to ignore, with a strong, athletic frame matched by a fierce intellect. I never suspected meeting outside of office hours would lead us down a path we can't turn back from...

Football is my ticket to a better life. They predict I may go top ten in this year's draft. Playing professionally will give me the chance to repay my father for all the sacrifices he's made. Schoolwork has never been a distraction for me, until the day I walked into Professor March's class. The look in her eyes. The trembling of her hands. These are familiar signs of loved ones I have lost...ones I couldn't save.

When I offer to help Professor March, I never intend to put my football career in jeopardy. Now my passion for winning on the field is equally matched by my desire for her.

Love's Addiction is a unique student-teacher romance told from alternating points of view. It's filled with captivating drama, courageous love, and soulful healing. Best-selling authors Ozlo and Priya Grey share a profound love story that will break your heart. Then they slowly put all the pieces back together again with an unforgettable happily ever after.

Enjoy this bold and beautiful romance today!

I love the work by these 2 authors because everything they right about is an education about life. A doorway into another person's universe to get a glimpse of how others may live which gives us perspective of our own lives. This book is no different. This is a beautifully written story about addiction and some of it's many forms. The story is portrayed by the two leading characters Vanessa and Colter, and with them, the authors take us on an emotion journey through parts of their life's when pain and desperation turns to addiction. Then, how together, they overcome their life-altering challenges.

I believe this book has a special meaning to these authors and as it is so sensitive and personal, I give them kudos for a beautiful story and for sharing part of their lives with us. I know some readers may want more detail with a story like this but I think in this case, it would be an intrusion into the authors personal lives. They have shared their story, they have bared their souls through these characters and we have had a moment of their lives where we can learn through their experiences. I too would only give a glimpse into these personal hardships with the hope that no harsh judgement would be made of my life. For example, this story in part, deals with a teacher/student relationship and we have in real life been lead to believe that this is a bad thing. Let me highlight the point, that we the public, are not given all the details of these relationships and in some cases, as like this example, all is not as bad as it may seem on the outside. It is so true, that we cannot help who we fall in love with and when we fall in love with them. We can only hope to make the best of what we can at any given time.

This started out great. I loved the direction it was taking, the writting was wonderful, the characers were coming to life. In no time I was half way through the story of forbidden love with older women/professor and younger man. Colton was awesome, i really loved him. Vanessa had some demons and challenges along the way and I truely felt for her. What stopped this being a 5 star? Not enough of the couple together, and not steamy enough for me. Also towards the end felt really rushed. I do not say this often, but it could have done with another 50 pages to slow the finish down. Other than that, it was a good read

A story of addiction, love, selflessness and learning to accept yourself. Vanessa and Colter's story is beautifully written, a struggle to overcome your demons and to know that your life, no matter what, is worth fighting for.

I received and ARC of Love's Addiction and have reviewed it honestly.

Loved the characters and the subject matter is so spot on. Love when an author can really touch you deep inside. Only disappointment is that I wanted more!

5.0 out of 5 stars #FANTASICSTORY 18 May 2017
By Jennifer Pierson: The Power of Three Readers - Published on

I want to start out by saying that I'm not a huge fan of teacher/student relationships, but I'm very addicted to this awesome author duo, so I gave it a read, and I'm super glad I did! Vanessa is starting over in a new place after losing everything that she held dear. She's landed a new teaching job, and is praying that her new students can't tell that she's barely holding it together. Colter is a football star hoping to make it to the NFL so he can repay all of the sacrifices his father made for him. School work has never stood of the way, until the day he meets his new teacher, Professor March. So, Love's Addiction was an original story that I found myself loving a ton, and couldn't turn the pages quickly enough. Just in case anyone missed this, this teacher/student story took place with a college student, and his professor, so there's not underage stuff. Ozlo & Priya Grey are a brilliant writing duo that I fell in love with during the first book that I ever read by them, and that love hasn't dimmed one iota! Not to mention, the way they wrote this story, made me LOVE a story that I wouldn't normally read. The angst levels had my heart hurting, and my eyes may or may not have leaked more than once. But as the hurt happened, the healing was even more beautiful, as it didn't happen overnight, but instead, came to pass over time, which made it so realistic in my mind. The amazing characters that I fell in love with from the get go, were beautifully flawed, which is something that I can't get enough, and that makes it easier for me to be transported into their world. So enough of my fan girl gushing, and just read this beautifully emotional ride asap! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, Emotional, Gripping - 5+ Stars! 18 May 2017

As the title indicates, this is the story of the relationship between a teacher and student. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Vanessa is a 29 year old English professor and best selling author, and Colter is a college senior football star headed to the NFL. A taboo relationship, especially in light of similar stories often in the news, but the authors handled it in a tasteful, beautiful way.

This is my first book by these authors (I’m reviewing an ARC copy) and wow, what an introduction to their writing! A husband and wife romance writing team is as rare as a male romance author and just as intriguing. This story is a work of art. It’s one of those epic stories of deep, abiding, unconditional, sacrificial love that captures your heart and touches your soul in a truly magnificent way. It addresses the pain and devastation of addiction, not with judgement but with compassion and grace. I can’t help thinking this book has the potential to impact someone who may be struggling in a life changing way. If you’re looking for a book that will challenge your mind and fill your heart, Love’s Addiction is that book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it! 17 May 2017

I loved, loved every angsty addicting page. Love's Addiction is a beautiful story of heartache, struggle and acceptance. It's a heady mix of emotions and inspiration.

When Vanessa had everything she ever wanted taken from her in an instant, she decided to start over by accepting a teaching position at Midwestern university. Vanessa hoped by moving to a new place she'd be able to finish writing her second novel. She may have moved to escape her past but she wasn't able to escape her pain. Pain that she's drowning away with alcohol.

Colter James is in his final year of college. He's a star football player with NFL opportunities nipping at his heals. That's if he can keep his focus on the game and not his Professor.

Vanessa struggles with the impossibilities and almost loses her way. She can't see past societal expectations until Colter sheds light on her talent. The story goes beyond a romance, as it tackles several prevalent social issues. The characters struggles are heartfelt and moving. In the end there's a HEA that will make you feel. 5 Stars
