Product Description

Can their new love survive the scrutiny of the public eye?

After his father's heart attack, Australian Football League player Tyson Gaspaldi takes his parents on holiday to a small place at the New South Wales coast.

One morning, following a surfing session, he comes across a crying woman on the beach. Everything about her intrigues him, and he can't walk away. She's not only sexy and humble, but, as he soon finds out, vulnerable as well.

It's only been a few months since Katie Cassidy lost her sister in a car accident.

Still overwhelmed by the loss, a chance encounter on the beach with an attractive stranger awakens unexpected emotions inside her. She's instantly drawn to his caring nature, but also his looks.

However, Tyson's past quickly catches up with them, causing Katie's childhood demons to return, and the road to romance becomes anything but smooth.

I was offered an ARC of Love Will Find You by the author, and I finished it last night, after several lazy nights of reading to end my kids' school holidays.
It's an uncomplicated love story, with authentic characters and a grandma who almost stole the show for me.
I love my AFL footy. (Love most sports actually), so I had no reservations about the sport in this book and I'm glad to hear it's part of a series as I'm sure I'll enjoy the other two.
For me, because I do like the football so much, I could have used a bit more interaction/description with the hero, Tyson, and his game. A bit of footy rough and tumble would have been good fun. I would also have enjoyed going just a bit deeper into Katie. The book begins with her grieving after the death of her sister and Tyson finds her having a cry on the beach. Katie's job, some more about the things she enjoys in life, a greater sense of what she wants to do and become - some of those details I would have enjoyed. I found Katie just a bit hard to identify with.
This is the third of Iris Blobel's books I've read, having also read the first 2 of her 'Beginnings' series, set in Tasmania.
She has a very warm writing style and although this one is a bit 'racier' than either of the Beginnings books, the sex or language level certainly isn't over-done.

4.0 out of 5 stars Character-led romantic read with realistic emotion 8 October 2014
By Helen - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
As an avid romance reader, the most important thing for me is always the two main characters. They need depth, and I need to be able to empathize with them. This was no problem in Love Will Find You – I was invested in Tyson and Katie from the start. They’re likeable and earnest, and I found myself rooting for their romance to work right from the get-go. The sexual chemistry between them was neatly woven in so it added to the romance rather than distracted from it.

Katie’s grief over her sister’s recent death, and Tyson’s reticence towards his celebrity status and the publicity circus that comes with it – along with an unwanted face from his past – were all realistic threats to their tentative romance. I would have liked to know more about Katie’s childhood demons to help me understand some of her actions a little better, but it’s a minor quibble.

I enjoyed the Melbourne and New South Wales settings, and although I was a little worried that I know nothing about Tyson’s sporting world and the AFL, there was nothing technical in here waiting to catch me out!

If you’re looking for a character-led romantic read with realistic emotion, then I can definitely recommend Love Will Find You.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

5.0 out of 5 stars Australia, Sports, and Love. What's not to like? 9 March 2015

GENRE: ROMANCE—Love Will Find You by Iris Blobel
Ms. Blobel understands the essence of romance. At its heart a good romance has to be about the emotional connection between two people. Katie and Ty’s story is a poignant reminder that it is easy to fall in love, but building a relationship takes time, trust, and a willingness to open your heart. As a reader, I appreciate that there is much more to the story than sex. Yes the characters do steam up the sheets, but the scenes are tastefully done. The real story is about love’s rollercoaster ride, and it’s healing power. I won’t summarize the plot, nor belabor the point that this is a genre romance. In my humble opinion, reviews should tell you whether the book is worth reading, and this one is. Love Will Find You is the perfect book to take to the beach and read while soaking up the sun. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Blobel’s books.

Happy Reading

4.0 out of 5 stars I really enjoyed this book 11 October 2014
By Amy Mullen - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I really enjoyed this book. The main characters popped off the pages right from the start and the author sprinkled a fun and quirky set of secondary characters throughout. I always like a male lead that knows what he wants and goes for it - and a female lead strong enough to know when she's wrong. Add in Australia and football and I'm hooked.

3.0 out of 5 stars I think I would have liked the story better if Katie had not gotten on ... 30 May 2015

I think I would have liked the story better if Katie had not gotten on my nerves. She didn't start off that way but by the end of the book she drove me nuts because she came across as being immature. When Tyson first meets her, she is trying to get over the death of her sister. I can understand how she was acting at that time, even though I thought they had moved kind of fast. Tyson wants to be with her and keeps trying to prove it to her. No matter what, she keeps pushing him away for the stupidest things and acts like a teenager instead of an adult. Was disappointed in the ending of the book. It just kind of ended and left me thinking, that's it?
