Product Description

“They said his survival would be against the odds. They hadn’t accounted for the creative power of unconditional love…”
June 2012. Frustrated by financial and marital turmoil, all I want is life back on track. Instead, a sudden illness crashes my husband, Gordon, to the brink of death in coma. Forced to embark on an epic journey, I confront my terror of abandonment, loss, and the unknown. In a race against time, family rifts, the unseen at play, epiphanies, bombshells, and the extraordinary spontaneous growth of a special online community all converge as I discover how to heal a heart, love freely, and experience that which is never alone.
Part magical mystery, part awakening and collective journal, this book intimately explores how we create the suffering of disconnection, and illuminates the possibilities when we are love in action. Raw, candid, and insightful, this story is for anyone struggling in life, relationships, or seeking inspiration on how to connect and receive from the richest depths of vulnerability and the heart.
“You do not read this book, you live it and in doing so you will cherish your loved ones all the more.” –Anthony Peake, consciousness researcher, speaker and author of The Infinite Mind: The Quest to Find the Gateway to Higher Consciousness

5.0 out of 5 stars The Love of One 24 May 2016

I marvel because my own Spirit has longed to read a book about how Magic looks in a very real life. Within these very personal pages, the author explores the themes of Love and Surrender and Shadow and is able to demonstrate how to navigate thru Life's chaos and turmoil, with Grace and Awareness. She shares ideas about 'Magic' including parallel realities, synchronicity, and deep intuition and then is able to capture how these magical principles unfold in a very real human life.

This memoir is a multifaceted diamond. Caroline takes us on a very human journey that explores how Magic and Miracles show up in our Ordinary Life if we can be open and aware to notice and believe. The book also explores the many aspects of LOVE--- self-love, committed love in a partnership, the love found in community as well as Divine love. The remarkable thing about this story for me is that Caroline opens up her life and her heart and reading it is like reading someone's diary---full of raw emotions-- the good, the beautiful and the difficult. Caroline's powerful and poetic words point to the truth of the complexity of our Inner Life and a connection with something greater than ourselves.

What riveted me to her writing is that she was able to tell two stories at once--- one unfolding in linear time, the other unfolding beyond time. After finishing reading, the sense of these two dimensions stayed with me. Because she shares her journey so deeply and so humanly, I was able to more clearly perceive the story I am telling in my own head. The wisdom embedded in the book lingers. Caroline is a powerful storyteller with a powerful story.

As I flipped the last page of Caroline Cumming's book, the continuing, a smile came to my face. Through this book, I have smiled and cried over and over. Caroline's words of the simplicity and complexity of living invited my heart to open to a the sacredness of life and death. Gordon's story spoke to many deep realities in my own life and experiences. It reminded me of the beauty that we behold every day in the people and the world around us.
Truly, this book speaks to what is calling for our attention in our lives. You won't regret reading it.
5.0 out of 5 stars It is amazing how a human heart can break 25 May 2016

It is amazing how a human heart can break, yet heal to open to more than it was thought capable of bearing or celebrating. It's also fascinating how the oneness reflects back on itself to transcend barriers perceived in separation of time, space, and circumstance. There is healing in these pages, traditional and non traditional. There is community here that contributes to and is grown by the miracle that it plays a role in. I find myself thankful that I happened to find this multifaceted book and how the journey shared within it resonated with the healing of my own heart.
