"For Fallon (Chicago Syndicate, #1)" voted "Best Breakout Novel 2014" by Novel Grounds Semi Annual Literary Awards. Soraya Naomi's debut series Chicago Syndicate is a Contemporary Romance/Romantic Suspense/Mafia Romance filled with love, lies, deceit, and betrayal. Soraya Naomi is also an ardent reader and reads many genres, but she favours intense, seductive, and provocative novels where the male character loves fiercely without remorse or boundaries. She has a passionate obsession with the written word and indulges in chocolate pastries much too often. Connect with Soraya Naomi! Did not think I would find another book as brilliant as For Luca but this one had me from the start. It was brutal and had me torn between love and anguish. So much love but brought me to tears in many places. The plots were brilliant and the cast of characters was intriguing. I was so scared in places as I thought there could be disaster on the horizon. Then there was hope and I was wondering where it could take me. Another torrid read and fabulous story. Soraya Naomi is the master in this field..Thank you for a thrilling ride into mafia territory.xx
Now I never expected this book, I never expected how this story would turn out and I never expected to hate and love it at the same time.
Luca and Fallon have become one of my memorable mafia reads and I'm so glad I did cause their story in this series will leave you with the 'huh' to how unbelievable an a$$ Luca becomes, but the stronghold of this is Fallon who fought her way into showing or proving that all is not to expect while also hoping that Luca believes in her and their twins omg swoons moments but I was so gunning for her and to be honest I was also worried, the intensity between them both had me questioning their loyalty their trust and also their soul swoon love lol, but Soraya Naomi had me wondering if it's going or it's going to happen to OMG moments that you'll never know what to expect.
The Chicago Syndicate is one of my favourite Mafia reads by the amazing author Soraya Naomi and she brings an amazing storyline plotting to characters, the secondary characters to the Syndicate is an amazing series about their bonds, their friendship, their children and most of all trust, honesty and their loyalty.
For the Love of Luca is an intense, fast-paced and full of all the mafia goodness we’ve come to expect. Just when you think you’ve figured things out you’re hit with a curveball you’ll never see coming. There’s so much angst, fire, passion, suspense, love, and plenty of swoon-worthy moments in this story. Although it’s the 8th story in the Syndicate series it can be read as a complete standalone. * I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book *
I absolutely love this series!! This book is such a fantastic addition to the series. Yes, it can be read as a stand alone, but why would you ever want to miss out reading about alpha mafia men?? Luca and Fallon's story is filled with so many twists, turns, betrayal, love, lust action and drama. You really won't be able to put this down once you start, I know I certainly couldn't
I haven’t actually read any Chicago syndicate books but I loved Luca and Fallon. The story was awesome the characters were awesome the whole book was just awesome😁😁 Im definitely going to read the other books in the series now.
Book #8 Standalone, But ideally read in order Dual POV
Where to start? My emotions! More twists and turns. Sorayas writing never fails. This is the original couple Luca & Fallon from Book 1 (& throughout) the Chicago Syndicate Series.
There's been a raid on the Syndicates Club and in the midst of it Fallon gets injured. This sets off a series of events questioning Fallons sanity. She insists she's right and convinced there's an inside man making trouble. But Luca and the rest of the higher ranked men look into what Fallon is saying & come up with nothing. Making Fallon look like a liability. So she goes off to investigate by herself. Causing distance between her and Luca. Finding that the only person who believes her is Michael, the ex boss of the New York Syndicate who is her new guard now, after leaving New York he's wanting a bit more of the quieter life. She still loves Luca fiercely. She just wants to find out the truth and protect her family. Luca, on the other hand is spirling & caught between his Wife and the Syndicate. I really wanted to hate him due to his attitude, but couldn't, because he still loves Fallon with the passion and protective of her in his own Alpha/jerkness attitude. Fallon finally finds out the truth. She was quite the badass, well impressed. Can she forgive Luca for not believing her? Does their marriage survive? Does Luca get stripped of his title as Underboss?
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Here's to hoping that the next book, Book #9 is Michael's and his interest is Brielle.....

Well here we are back with a favourite couple of mine in Fallon and Luca . From the start this is not what I was expecting , Fallon has developed into a strong female character and is well matched to her husband in all ways , meanwhile Luca is still a man who will do anything to protect his wife and family .This was book that as soon as I thought I knew where this was going there was a complete 180 and the action was on again , this book will keep you hanging on by your fingernails , unwilling to put it down until you've read the last page . This is 1 series that I can not get enough of . I voluntarily agreed to read and review an advanced reader copy of this book

This book!!! Luca and Fallon on a whole other level! This book has gone above and beyond. Fallon comes stronger than ever in For the Love of Luca. Like all of Soraya's books, I could not put this book down. She sure makes a good job at keeping me at the edge of my seat, making me cry, laugh, and want to throw my kindle at the wall with each one of her books and this one was definitely no exception. You really can't help feel every emotion this couple goes through.
This sexy man beast Luca sure took me on an emotional ride. He's more intense than ever but not always in a good way. But what's a man to do when he's stuck between a rock and a hard place? Make stupid decisions and be an ass of course. Having to make hard decisions between being more of a husband or underboss, takes its toll. So that's where Fallon comes in wearing her big girl panties and doing whatever necessary to protect her family. And boy does she ever! Guns blazing, she will not stop until both of her families are safe, even when it seems like she has no support and trust is questioned. Fallon has shown her strength before in books #1 and #2, but now she shows she's the true pillar keeping it all together, no matter how crazy one may seem (wink). You know what they say... With every great man, there's an even stronger woman.
This must read is amazingly written in dual POV with its own HEA. This is book #8 in the Chicago Syndicate series but a complete standalone. So you do not need to read any of the other books before you read this one, but why wouldn't you want to get to know all these sexy alpha mafia men? They are all definitely worth the read and even a re-read. I'm so excited for Soraya's next book, it's not even funny. Can't wait for more Chicago Syndicate!

As usual Soraya hits it out of the park. This is a continuation of sorts of Luca and Fallon's story. I certainly would strongly recommend the earlier Chicago Syndicate Books be read to get the full enjoyment and understanding of this story. Luca and Fallon have had their twin babies a few months ago. Luca is feeling a stronger need to protect now that his family has expanded. He's a wonderful father and caring husband. Fallon has grown in her role as a Syndicate wife and Luca doesn't realize how strong she is. He's shaken when Fallon is almost taken after Henry and Mary's wedding. It seems that this is the beginning spiral into the obsessive need he has to control and protect his family. Fallon receives a text to meet him for lunch and while she and one of the twins are on the way to meet him she gets attacked and baby Noah is slightly injured. When Luca claims he didn't send her a text and questions and distrust begin. Fallon is appearing unstable and she's seeing everyone question her. I won't go any further so I don't give anything away. The angst is dialed way up in this book and it tore me up reading it. I got so mad at Luca and some of the others in the Syndicate and felt so badly for Fallon. The book ends with a HEA, thank heavens! I don't think I could have handled a cliffhanger on this one. Keep up the good work Soraya!
