Product Description

Lord Darin is pursuing Sura. The Web is pursuing Bailar and Mik. Still, they continue teaching combat magic to sorcerers in Koyr and the Northern Reach.

Training for conflict in the Goblin fastness, soldiers and mages start using Nightwalk, the vast maze under Ak’Koyr, for war games. Fleeing an assassination attempt, they find themselves lost. Now the problem isn’t Lord Darin or The Web—it’s getting out.

3.0 out of 5 stars could have been more or combined with the next book 24 December 2014

I have really enjoyed the characters and story line up to this point. To me and this is my opinion, this story felt forced. First, it was very short, the dialogue was uninspired and the actual action was mediocre at best. Nothing in this story really challenged my emotional attachment to the story or characters like the previous version did. I am waiting for the next book and will purchase it. My hope is the next one is longer (worth the price of admission) and moves the series along otherwise I don't see an end to this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars A worthy successor 7 January 2015

I enjoyed this book. It seemed a bit more serious than the earlier books but it still was good. This book also wrapped up a couple of subplots quite nicely.
4.0 out of 5 stars Consistent with drama and quirky scenes 3 March 2015

The author is continuing to dramatize scenes of importance and includes scenes that are quirky. The heroes are put to even greater challenges that are reminiscent of a warriors battles.

Not as engaging as others in series. Seemed short as well
