WTH??Reviewed in the United States on 7 May 2020
Book started out well. Then without warning or explanation the h and H are separated for 4 years. Not really possible to have a romance when the characters are separated and one is presumed dead for much of the story. During the separation, h gives birth to H’s child - and deliberately hides the child from him - over what amounts to a temper tantrum. Why? Because she found out her new husband was rich and not the poor farmer she assumed him to be. Yeah okay. How dare he have money & wealth and expect her to live like a queen! Then when H finds h alive, he isn’t even mad at her for running away and keeping him away from his child for 4 years but instead becomes a complete doormat trying to get her back. Seriously, I was so disgusted I stopped reading and threw the book away. I won’t waste any more money on this author’s books.
