Favourite author. Probably not my absolute favourite period in the historical genre, so no doubt that affected my overall enjoyment. Still! This author is always a safe recommendation and I didn't regret the investment in time. Just a little greyer than the fantasy ;)
As with all stories by this author, dual pov, open door sexy times, and a HEA.
Read the exerpt for the second book in the series and think I'll continue in spite of the period. So i guess that says something right there!
