I am been an enthusiastic fan of this adult western series for many years. I have read so many Longarm books that I have to check my list before ordering more of these action packed westerns. I recently purchased several Longarm western novels for a bargain price on Amazon.
I just finished reading this 183 page action packed paperback (Longarm (#378) and shotgun Sallie by Tabor Evans) book and it is one of the best adult western Longarm books I have read lately. This exciting page turning book begins with Custis Long, Deputy Federal Marshal, known far and wide by friend and foe as Longarm, picking up his lady friend Lucy at church after Sunday service. Longarm had rented a fancy buggy and loaded it with a picnic basket for the special Sunday date. After a delicious lunch they decided to take a cool swim when five hooded killers began shooting at them while they were swimming.
I never like to give away too much information when reviewing a novel because it spoils it for anyone who may want to read the book. If you are a Longarm fan you should check out this Longarm and Shotgun Sallie novel. It has numerous twists and turns as Longarm teams up with Shotgun Sallie to find out who ambushed her sister and Longarm.
