Fletcher is a lone wolf who was forced out of two different packs. He gets by as a hired thug, but the latest job is personal. He's been hired to kidnap Delaney, but once he has her, he's not handing her over. Delaney is shocked to see Fletcher. He disappeared years ago, breaking her heart, and she'd believed he was dead.

I picked this up after reading the author's Knights from Hell series and loving it. This book started off so well. I enjoyed Delaney's reaction to Fletcher. Sadly, I felt like it went a bit downhill after that. It was all over a bit too quickly and didn't seem to have a lot going on. It was just a bit too light on detail for my taste.

It wasn't a bad book, but it could have been more.

This book was a surprise for me! I had no idea this author did two in this series. They may be older, but they are a great read! Here we have Delaney and Fletch. A lone wolf who was kicked out of his pack for looking different and a she wolf who is smart and being used by her father Anthony. The pair have a wicked attraction that can't be denied. I really loved the book and the story of how they progress and unite in the end. I do wish it was longer, but will be going to read the next in the series. A great read!
