What a brilliant cookbook! I hadn't heard of the author before stumbling across "Lizzie Loves Healthy Family Food" listed a few weeks ago as a pre-order, so I think I'm a rarity in that I've not followed her blog or Instagram. However, I love absolutely everything that "Lizzie Loves Healthy Family Food" stands for. If you've children to feed, or not, this is jam-packed with good, honest, home cooked food but with a fresh edge.
Lizzie Loves Healthy Family Food is not the slightest bit pretentious in its offering (as many I've bought in the past). There's no preaching, but bags of inspiration and the ingredients easy enough to find at your local supermarket. I also love that every recipe in the book is gluten-free, and free of refined sugar, despite this not being marketed as a "gluten free" cookbook. Every page is inviting and I can't wait to work my way through it.

From the Publisher
Lizzie King is the face of popular blog Lizzie Loves Healthy. She trained at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and Leith's and runs sell-out cookery classes in London and with partners such as Daylesford. She felt exasperated with the options out there for fast, super healthy meals for her kids, so she started her blog (www.lizzieloveshealthy.com) and subsequent Facebook page (www.facebook.com/lizzieloveshealthy). You can follow Lizzie on Instagram for daily recipe ideas and tips for feeding your family well @lizzieloveshealthy --This text refers to an alternate kindle_edition edition.

I like this oneReviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 May 2017
I like this one! In her Intro she says she wanted a healthy book for kids that isn't full of the same old boring kids meals and this book is certainly not that! Some really nice recipes that both adults and kids can enjoy with out being to 'out there' for kids not to want to try. There are some things my kids will just never go near like Chia pudding and overnight oats but there is plenty of other great recipes like Sweetcorn & leek fritters which they loved and lots of smoothie combos and a breakdown of what makes a good and bad smoothie, - not all smoothies are made equal!

Amazing bookReviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 March 2018
Ive been following Lizzy for a while on instagram and decided to order a book for myself. Ita not only cookery book, its a book you want to read, with lots of information about nutrition amd great advices to feed your family healthy. I have tried 4 recipes and they all were delicious and big hit in my family. Banana bread is a must. Everyone should make it once a week. This book gives opportunity to try new things as well as make your meal tasty and healthy. Definitely recommend to everyone who likes cooking and want to enjoy every meal. Thanks for an amazing book.

Faff free for families!Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 March 2018
I have had my eye on this for a while as I follow Lizzy on Instagram and when it was reduced I just had to have it! As a fan (addict) of healthy eating cookbooks I have all the popular ones - Amelia Freer, Fearne, Helmsley and Helmsley et al and I am so pleased I added this to the collection! Within a week I have cooked 3 dinners and 3 puddings and they have not dissapointed.. The puddings in particular have been so faff free without having to use too many ingredients and will really help in my mission to reduce my children’s sugar intake further (I will though double up on the sizes to make more to last the week). The nutritional advice and menu planning tips are a great addition to the book too.
