I couldn't disagree more with the critical reviews of these CD's. Although those of us who are familiar with Lynne McTaggart's books ('The Field' and the 'Intention Experiment') will find a great deal that is familiar here, this is no drawback. The CDs provide a summary of McTaggart's work that I find a useful reminder. Anyone who thinks they can hold onto a wider view of reality from a passive position (especially in the face of cynicism from people like Richard Dawkins) are mistaken. We need a way of re-affirming and reinforcing a more positive and optimistic view of our human nature. For this reason alone, Lynne McTaggart's CD's are invaluable.
For anyone who is new to Lynne McTaggart's work, the CD's are a great introduction. In fact, listeners could be encouraged after listening to these to read the books, which are very concentrated material. 'The Field' for example, is not something you can sit down and read in a couple of hours. The CDs provide an excellent familiarisation that could well make the book easier reading.
As far as this material being found elsewhere as one critical review claims, it should be pointed out that the material itself is not as important as the author's unique approach to it. And as far as saying that Lynne McTaggart talks too fast (a complaint usually made by the elderly hard-of-hearing) be assured that this septuagenarian had no difficulty whatsoever keeping pace!
