Darian O’Connor is an upper class young man with aspirations as a fantasy scenery painter. When his mother is raped and murdered he seeks vengeance, but afterwards he can hardly return to his oppressive upper class life and finds himself driven to execute again while on his frequent road trips for new inspiring scenery.
As he journeys into manhood he finds himself teetering on the edge of madness and righteousness, in a disturbing and gratifying place where right and wrong change with his moods.

About the Author
The inspiration for Ms. Collopy's novels draws from many sources; the beauty of nature and her love of road trips, music and the visual arts, sociopolitical debates, trying new activities, the search for Truth and understanding, and her desire to inspire others to think critically and form their own opinions. She is published in 'In Our Own Words', 'Pulse Online Literary Journal', 'LanguageandCulture.net', 'Ascent Aspirations', and others. She's from Oregon and has traveled through North America and Europe while working various jobs, doing volunteer work, and donating blood. She is a happily life-long non-mother with many friends, who has oft enjoyed being a single independent female for long periods of time, a fact she proudly promotes to remind women no one's obligated to have kids, or be co-dependent, despite social pressures.
