The bad - power consumption, as mentioned in other comments isn't the best. I have a loads of canon batteries and the addition of extra baseplates for different battery makes would have been welcome.
The good - Everything else. I have always been reluctant to purchase an external monitor for my video business as I shoot mostly on my own and the extra kit to carry around wasn't exactly something I thought should be high on my priority list. Wrong..... This has changed the way I shoot and I have way more confidence in critical focus using this. Get a decent magic arm to mount it on so you can be sure it's secure. It's also great to play back clips on for the client should they wish to see them.
Conclusion - If you are considering it, buy it, it's well worth the money.

Its focus peaking feature is an adequate substitute for cameras that lack it (why I bought it), though its pin-sharp 7" display so close to you is probably a better guide to focus for low-contrast targets like eyes when shooting with a wide open aperture. Its zoom feature (assignable to an F button) is also useful. I haven't tested 4k because, for me, its down sides don't justify the higher resolution (and if you're serious enough to be shooting 4k properly, you are probably going to spend more than a hundred quid or so on your field monitor). Haven't tested its HDMI out, either, because my camera's codec is better than I am a videographer.
There are two F buttons; I initially set mine to zoom and false colour and leave focus peaking on all the time. My camera (D7500) can do highlight zebras while sending clean video to HDMI. If your camera can't output clean video (and many can't) or turns of its own display when sending to HDMI, you're going to feel the lack of F buttons more.
Things to be aware of:
* This is a 16:10 rather than 16:9 display, so you'll probably want to override aspect or choose pixel-to-pixel scan, or your video will be slightly distorted and you'll lose a little sharpness.
* Like all 7" monitors, it's big relative to most cameras. That makes it too heavy to hand hold the camera for extended periods. Shots longer than 5 minutes or so will probably require a rig or, better, a tripod.
* Beware battery drain even when powered "off". You *will* need at least two batteries (and none are included), probably more if you're going to be using it for hours at a stretch (unless you're using DC from elsewhere). A random 3rd party "2900mAh" NP-F550 clone might last about an hour or so, but I haven't timed it from a full charge.
* The rear-firing speaker is useless, turn it off or plug in headphones unless you really need it. Quite apart from sounding awful, the monitor can't know the difference between live feed and playback — not its fault, no monitor could — so it's prone to feedback made worse by the position of the speaker. You won't want it echoing a delayed version of the sound while you're shooting anyway.
* The supplied HDMI cable is a bit too long and stiff for most applications. You'll probably want a better third party cable, but it'll get you started until you know what you need.
* The supplied ball mount is fiddly to lock properly to both hotshoe and monitor, but the ball joint itself is acceptably tight given the money.
