4.0 out of 5 stars An inspirational collection of author's experiences
Reviewed in India on 8 November 2018
Paulo Coelho's Like a Floating River is a collection of author's personal experiences, memoirs and the stories which the other people have told him throughout his life.
I found inspiration in every page and I came to realise the extraordinary quality of ordinary things around me. The themes of courage, hope, death, wisdom and peace could b found throughout the book. There are instances from the author's life which highlights his faith, positivity and wisdom.
I would recommend you to read this book at a slow pace, maybe a couple of pages everyday in order to absorb the message in each and every story. If you're struggling with life, or your faith is wavering, or even if you need a certain kind of inspiration in life, you should definitely pick this one up.
