Product Description

Keifer Vassago, The Prince of Dragons, has enough on his plate without adding a brunette with a bad attitude to the mix
Fate has a way of screwing all his plans, though, whether he wants them screwed or not. One second he’s fetching his brother from yet another situation that could possibly compromise the Vassago name, and the next that brunette is grabbing his assets.

Blythe isn’t after anyone’s assets, though. She’s a good girl. All she wants is to graduate from nursing school, get a job, and move out of her hell hole apartment. What she does not have time to deal with is a sexy bearded man that accuses her of grabbing his junk.

She tries to forget about the encounter, but fate’s a cruel bitch.

One second she’s a normal college student barely living paycheck to paycheck, and the next she’s setting her panties on fire with powers from an ancient immortal dragon.

To add insult to injury, she’s hearing voices, and none of them are figments of her imagination. Blythe’s life is turned upside down, and Keifer forces her to adapt even though she doesn’t want to. She likes her life just the way it is.

Not to mention she wants nothing to do with that arrogant asshole. She doesn’t care that he rides a dragon. She also could care less about his stupid beard, and his sexy eyes.

Yeah, who was she kidding? She wasn’t convincing anybody.

I LOVE all things Dragon and have read quite a few PNR on them!! This one had a more Urban Fantasy feel then true Paranormal genre in my opinion. I did enjoy it because, well....... DRAGONS!
As the first book in a brand new series I expect a fair amount of world building to take place so that I have an understanding of the foundation of this world! Well, I really felt like I was plonked in the middle of a series with no back ground. It really felt very underdeveloped and things glossed over.
It's hard to pin point what it lacked, maybe its just details and that I was expecting more???? e.g Why were Dragons freely known about? The relationships between the brothers weren't exactly friendly/supportive, why???? I could go on but wont. I will add that I'm not sure of the title of this book, it doesn't really fit the book somehow?
Overall I liked the book and at this stage have plans to purchase the 2nd in the series hoping that things are expanded on.

I am going to be honest I didn't like Big Dragons........ I absolutely loved Big Dragons and I Cannot Lie. I was hesitant to read this book as I don't normally enjoy paranormal romance books but because I am a big Lani Lynn Vale fan and have read all her other books I decided to pre-order this book and see what it was like, well that was the best decision ever. I started reading the book at 11pm and didn't stop until I was finished (who needs sleep). This book made me laugh - got me hot and steamy - made me cry and then made me smile. This story consumes you and makes you become one with Blythe to share in her experience in becoming part of the Dragon Riders world. The only disappointing part to this story is that the book ended and second I have to wait until October for the next one. I loved that the book still held the writing style of Lani and that she kept the quotes before each chapter as per other series.

I do not read paranormal. I cringe at the thought of shapeshifters and don't her the whole vampire thing. As a kid I couldn't stand Mr Ed because I desperately wanted a real horse and real horses don't speak.
But.
I.
Love.
DRAGONS!!!!!!
Ok, I'm a sucker for each and every LLV character and have reread all of her books at least twice. This was a strange departure from the interwoven series I love so much - but strange good not strange bad!!!
Cautiously straddling fantasy and what I consider a more traditional contemporary romance, this is a fun read with characters (human and not!) whom I'm looking forward to seeing more of as this series continues

First and foremost congrats to Lani for entering into urban fantasy! I did like this book but I was left feeling muddled and rushed. Lani's writing was great but the storyline it self was so quick I thought I was missing parts. I'm not sure if I'll continue reading series as it does set it up so some great characters but I'm hoping the storyline slows down so my brain can catch up lol.

This is my first Lani Lynn Vale book and really enjoyed it, what can I say I like big dragons too lol, I can't wait to read the next book, Lani weaves a wonderful tale of finding your one and only and I love the chemistry between the main characters, thank you for writing a wonderful book :)
