Two families, each went through incredibly stressful situations, one healing, one learning to live with loss. They have more in common than most of them know, but one person holds a secret. Will it rip them all apart for good?o

This book was amazing! The ups and downs are masterfully executed. The situations are believable and then characters, I rooted for them all to find their way. Read this with tissues nearby!

5.0 out of 5 stars Touching Story! 24 June 2017

Wow! This was an incredible emotional and touching story, and while it’s not my usual book I’m so glad I read it! This is a journey of healing of love and while I went into it expecting a love story between Bishop and Alex, that was there but this book was so much more.

This story focuses on Bishop, Alex and Tyson mainly, with Bishop’s mother and brother Nathan as important parts as well. These two families are connected by a tragedy that hurts one family and saves another. Bishop’s world is shaken and almost shattered but when he meets Alex he feels that light again, like there is life still in him. Alex is the one who knows the truth about the connection between their families and as they grow closer she knows she has to tell the truth but is afraid of what will happen.

This felt like a very personal journey reading it, the emotions raw and real! Alex and Tyson have a beautiful relationship, the most amazing brother and sister to each other. And Bishop, oh my heart hurt for him and his struggles as he deals with what happened to Nathan. He has great support from his mother, but he has to heal himself, she can’t do it for him. I really liked the love and support in this book, from all the different sides. Bradon Nave has done a beautiful job connecting these people and their journey. This was a wonderful read that I highly recommend! This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last!
4.0 out of 5 stars HIghly Recommend This Read 23 June 2017

This is my first time reading a book by this author but won’t be my last. This book touches on a topic that effects many people daily, suicide. This was not your typical romance story, yes there is the promise of love but this book was so much more than that. It deals more with acceptance, forgiveness and the love of family.

This books focuses on the lives of Bishop, Alex and Tyson, three individuals connected by one tragic night. Bishop looses his brother Nate in the most tragic way. This part was hard for me to get through. I felt both brothers anguish, pain and desperation. The words, scenes and descriptions used took me to that exact point in this story. Where Bishop struggles with his loss, Nate gives the hope of life for others.

Alex and Tyson have the most beautiful, strong and loving relationship for a brother and sister. Alex’ character was developed perfectly for this story. She was the back bone for her brother and his illness for years. Her strength and faith in her brothers health was so moving and poignant. I felt for Tyson right away. He was strong and happy for the time he had. I loved how the author showed how strong this character was. When given a second chance in life he cherishes every moment.

The journey these 3 characters take was beautifully written. Not knowing how to move on when someone you love is gone is not easy to do. And the author shows how hard and long the mourning process is. I loved how the author showed that not everything can be easily tied together. Each character goes through a journey of self discovery and forgiveness before they reach a place of peace and happiness. This book and it’s words will give you food for thought and have you revisiting your life. Highly Recommend!
