Product Description

You’re The Lights...

Sebastian had one rule.

No women on the back of his bike. Period.

The one time he broke that rule, he killed the woman that was carrying his child.

Then comes Baylee Roberts. She makes Sebastian want to break every single rule he’d ever implemented. Hell, but she even makes him consider that dreaded H word. A helmet.

To My...

Baylee Roberts innocently walked into her bathroom never expecting that she’d find a man in there. It is her bathroom after all, and she lives alone.

From the instant he placed his hat on her head to protect her from the sun, Baylee’s mind becomes filled with thoughts of a certain biker.

She really shouldn't go there. There’s no telling what kind of dangerous things he does for The Dixie Wardens MC.

Nothing is ever as easy as it should be. Their relationship’s one of them.

Baylee’s brother is a cop. Baylee’s father is a cop. Which inevitably means that Baylee’s going to have certain hang-ups about being with a man like himself.

Sebastian has a lot on his plate with his busy job as a firefighter, a single father, and the vice president of The Dixie Wardens MC.

Not enough, though, to keep him away from Baylee.
When a series of arsons rattle their hometown and puts Sebastian’s life on the line, Baylee finally realizes the only fire Sebastian can’t put out is the one inside her heart.

First book I have read from this author and I love it the style of writing is easy and effortless to read the pages come alive with humour and drama.

Baylee runs into the cocky Sebastian in her own bathroom there is an instant connection between the two of them, Sebastian becomes all alpha male on her from the instant their eyes connect while she likes what she sees she is an independent lady. Thru the weeks following their first meet they get to know each other the more Baylee tries to deny her feelings the more she becomes involved. Baylee and Sebastian are the perfect couple and 4 year old Johnny will give you a laugh or two.
Great read I laughed I cried and laughed a little more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love like there is no tomorrow 💕 7 March 2017

I need a Sebastian in my life.

Sebastian is VP of the Dixie Wardens MC. He was single dad to his son Johnny since his mom died in the motorcycle accident and they had to deliver him. Sebastian was not a one woman's man until the day he met Baylee. She was everything he didn't know he was looking for but what he didn't know is would she fit into his world.

Baylee was Swat team's Luke's sister. Young, beautiful medic that had just recently moved and purchased her first home. She loved her job and had some medical issues which seem to come between her previous boyfriends. What she didn't count on was him or his family.

This book gave me so much laughter, heartache and love. I shed tears during some parts and just was amazed at other.

4.0 out of 5 stars spin off series - really good story line - editing could use a spruce 30 November 2014

I love this storyline! Sebastian & Baylee are very well-suited & I love their chemistry & dialogue.

In order to enjoy their chemistry & dialogue, however, there are a lot of (what seem to me to be) lazy editing errors. The tenses change from 1st to 3rd person mid-sentence in several areas. There are a few random words placed that affect sentence structure. And some of the story feels like it's suffering from Baylee's ADHD. Also, this is book 1 in a new series, but (and I was unaware of this when I started reading) it's a connected series & many of the characters mentioned are from the earlier series. This is usually one of my favorite things & super cool. Unfortunately, in this case, some of that connected-ness left me feeling lost, rather than whetting my appetite for the previous stories.

From what I've read of other reviews from the previous series, the editing issues appear to be consistent, so I'm not sure if I'll give other stories in it a shot. I would like to, as the story line itself was very good, and the action & chemistry were well-written. The descriptions of other stories sound intriguing as well. If they go through a re-edit (as I know some authors do when books have been out a bit) & the flow issues are taken care of, I'll definitely give them a chance.

So! If you can handle the issues stated above in order to get to an enjoyable story, then I CAN recommend this book. I DID enjoy it, just not quite as much as I could have. : )

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good book 4 November 2014

I like how just about everyone in this book was some type of civil service employee, paramedic, fire fighter and police. This is a very different MC book than most of the ones out today. I really liked Baylee and Sebastian. The secondary characters play a big part of the book too. The characters are very well written and the storyline is really good. There were a couple of places where I didn't realize the timeline was shifting in the book for a while though. I don't like to give spoilers so let me just say something happens and when Sebastian says he realizes he's screaming and once I read that sentence a cried like I knew him personally. Also, there are hints to things about Sebastian but never get explained so maybe some of that will be in book 2.
5.0 out of 5 stars I absolutely adored this book. 27 September 2016

Sebastian lives by a few rules, as a VP for the Heroes of the Dixie Wardens and a single father, he keeps a distance from committing to a woman and never letting one on the back of his bike. He did that once and it killed her. When he agrees to help build a porch he meets Baylee Roberts, she is everything he would be looking for in a woman but he is not sure if he is good enough for the beauty who has a different perspective on life.

Baylee has been fantasizing about Sebastian since she borrowed, well permanently decided to keep, his hat. When they continue to run in the same circles, Sebastian decides he is going for it and Baylee is excited to see where it will lead. Sebastian has to decide if he is planning to let Baylee all the way in though and make her his old lady, can she handle to truth or is he willing to let it go.

I absolutely adored this book. Sebastian is no nonsense and he handles Baylee beautifully. Baylee is a handful, her brain goes on overload sometimes and I think she ignores things sometimes that causes her to get in trouble. I liked the whole MC dynamic and that it was just not a smooth romance, they had real problems that they had to work on. Definitely an MC series to pick up if you have not already.

5.0 out of 5 stars Light my fire, so to say, makes this book very hot! 9 February 2015

I DO love this book, I'm going to read it again then decide if I want to keep it forever on my kindle or what. This book is so well written with the exception of a few little things. Storyline is fabulous, its all about public servants, firemen and paramedics and how their lives can intertwine. Add in the bad boy MC club Dixie Wardens. Add in a lot of medical situations that are funny as heck and probably based on fact, some that are serious and sad, firefighters that are Alpha to beat the band and the MC bad boys too.. wow what a mix. The book is funny when you least expect it, sexually hot as hell, and the times for anguish are well founded. The interaction between Sebastian, the fireman, and Baylee the paramedic is powerful, loving, mysterious and funny. My concerns for the book are the lack of good editing. Many grammatical errors, but the most glaring is the sudden change in person. You have to stop and reread some of the sentences to try and figure out who is talking and how it switched so suddenly. It is being told from a third person pov then suddenly its being told from the first person pov. That's annoying to me, but not enough that I won't read the next book. There are 5 all together that I've seen, and this one is not a cliffhanger. It has a wonderful ending that was a bit unexpected, but not rushed through. I totally love the story with the exception of the things I have mentioned. If the author could make a few adjustments in her writing technique and better editing I would not have a single negative thing to say. Worth the read.
