Now he wants to take the road trip that Katie wrote of, to go with Caroline and leave some of Katie's ashes at specific spots along the route just like she'd always dreamed of.
But there is a catch ........... you will cry, tissues essential
I liked the way some chapters began by telling the previous story of what had happened.

I think what hit me do hard was, what could have been, if only they said or did this or that. Our lives are filled with these. This book just takes a really hard look at those.
I don't know why, but I had a soft spot instantly for John. I so badly wanted a different ending, knowing long before it wasn't to be.
An amazing book about forgiveness, love and the ability to move forward and grasp life and make the most of the life we are given.
