Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Product Description

Jesus Christ is the most influential human to have ever walked the Earth.

The message that he spread to his disciples has gone on to create the largest religion in the world.

Alfred Edersheim, the remarkable biblical scholar, uncovers life of Jesus and the age in which he lived.

Through the course of five book Edersheim discusses various topics including, the Jewish world at the birth of Christ, the nativity of Jesus, the emergence of Jesus’ ministry, the various parables the Jesus told to his disciples and the miracles that he performed, before finishing with the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension in the final book.

Edersheim relies heavily upon the gospels as a source for his work but he also draws details from a variety of other sources, including Jewish and Roman texts, to provide a thorough and scholarly account of the life of Jesus.

Alfred Edersheim was a Vienna-born biblical scholar who converted from Judaism to Christianity. A veteran minister and missionary to the Jews of Romania, Edersheim left an enduring and priceless legacy to followers of Christ. Among his most widely read works are The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah, The Temple: Its Ministry and Services, and Bible History Old Testament.
