Mark Lawrence has done it again! The Liar's Key was another fantastic read as we follow Prince Jalan on his mis-adventures. I thought I had the storyline picked a few times but I was wrong each time (again), I love that about these books. I read a lot of fantasy and I think both The Broken Empire trilogy and so far both of The Red Queens War books are at the top of the game.
This book was a bit more serious and heavier than Prince of Fools and just as enjoyable.
Do yourself a favor and go out and buy anything Mark Lawrence has written... seriously if you want to read awesome books with flawed, realistic charters who inhabit an interesting world with plots and sub-plots aplenty these books are for you.
The back story in the series around the 'Builders' is becoming clearer and provides a fascinating backdrop to the action
