I was hesitant to start this book, having been disappointed in the ‘letter’ style of memoir previously. I am very happy to say that it was definitely not the case with this excellent memoir. The stories are well written and presented, and highly engaging. I didn’t want to put the book down, and was sad when I finished it. If you enjoy medical memoirs, I can highly recommend this book. I hope the author, Dr Crocker, writes a sequel. I have recommended it to all my fellow members of a memoir reading group on FB.
Fabulous book! I am a wannabe medical person and was totally engrossed in this 'true stories from the ER' book. Definitely worth reading!! Highlights the ups and downs of working life in the ER. Loved it!
