Might as well have burned my money.
For any program to start up, it takes a long time. Everything hangs. Some apps don't run on it and those that do don't run as they should. If your kids are going to want to play games, there's no guarantee they will even open on this thing.
As someone who purchased a Lenovo laptop as well, this is the final nail in the coffin for me regarding the brand. I dont' know what they're doing over there, but it's not good work.

Size is a bit chunky by today's standard, but it fits in one hand nicely.
Screen is better than expected. Not too bright, but plenty of contrast. Perfect for reading.
Speed is on a sluggish side. But it is totally usable for web browsing, reading ebooks. My primary purpose for this device is Amazon Kindle, so this is great.
Overall, I think this device is suited to light duties. I'm loving it.
It’s too slow to work on, but still useable for one Chrome tab at a time. The finish is surprisingly nice to hold, though the metal also makes it very slippery.
Screen is okay, it’s very light (about the same as a Kindle or iPhone), and the security updates on this bottom-of-the-line Android tablet are surprisingly still up to date.
A Kindle fire would probably be better value in this price range, but since those aren’t easily available in Australia, this is a decent buy (on special) for the same sort of use.
