Lots of replayability as can play any character once you didn't succeed with the other.

Expansion is worth getting if you love this ... the predator game also works with this.

A great game once you get going.
However, instructions aren’t the clearest in some areas and wish the backs of the cards were at least varied a bit to make setup smoother. It results in you having to shift through hundreds of cards every play through to sort the decks out.

But the actual gameplay is great once its up and running. Definitely looking forward to playing this more and diving into the expansions

Apart from the initial sorting of the cards into their correct decks, this game takes ten minutes to set up and break down again.
Gives between an hour and an hour and a half of intense play per game.
Great fun with friends, brutally hard especially with the expansion with 4 or 5 players, a little easy on solo play.
Can mix and match levels and characters for plenty of replay value.
All in all a cracking game especially if you like the Alien universe.
Lots of on-line forums (fora?) so if you have a question about a mechanic of the game it's usually easy to find the answer.
Excellent manual too.

Main gripe is the art work on some of the cards can be a little naff but the game itself is great.

First board game I have ever bought. Pretty expensive and extremely tough to win this game, but I didn't wanna be a pushover as far as my board games go. I've played it about 10 times now and only beaten it once, got close 2-3 times as well. It's a brilliant game, the mat is awesome, looks really great and feels quality. The cards have fantastic artwork, and even thought its a board game, once you're engrossed in it, it's like you're actually trying to survive in an Alien movie. I play it with my sister and her soon to be fiancée, and we all love it. I'm going to be buying the Predator edition when I have enough money and eventually the Marvel edition and possible the Big trouble in little China edition to. Can't recommend this game enough. Hard to play at first, but once familiar with the rules and gameplay it's brilliant fun, do not be put off by the price. If you are, just wait til it's on sale but make sure you buy it haha

Excellent game, easy to learn but with surprsing depth. Optional rules (betrayers and player controlled aliens) and varied objectives for the 4 films give it plenty of replay value.

Only significant complaint is that initial set up time is relatively large. Cards are not sorted when packed and it takes a while to sort them into decks.

Best game of the year for me so far, had played Legendary before which didn't do a lot for me, I don't know if its the Aliens theme but this game is amazing, got a good level of difficulty too, you will win and lose in equal measures but have great fun either way with it.
