New beginnings for Korra and Asami!

After a refreshing sojourn in the Spirit World, Korra and Asami return to Republic City but find nothing but political hijinks and human vs. spirit conflict! Pompous developer Wonyong Keum plans to turn the new spirit portal into an amusement park, potentially severing an already tumultuous connection with the spirits. At the city's edge, Zhu Li enlists everyone she can to aid the thousands of hungry and homeless evacuees who have relocated there. Meanwhile, the Triple Threats' ruthless new leader, Tokuga, is determined to unite the other triads under his rule, no matter the cost.

In order to get through it all, Korra and Asami vow to look out for each other--but first, they've got to get better at being a team!

About the Author

Michael Dante DiMartino is an American animation director best known as the co-creator, executive producer, and story editor of the animated TV series Avatar- The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, both on Nickelodeon. He was born in Shelburne, Vermont. He studied at the Rhode Island School of Design with Bryan Konietzko, with whom he created Avatar. Before Avatar, Mike worked for twelve years at Film Roman, helping to direct King of the Hill, Family Guy, and Mission Hill in addition to his own animated short, Atomic Love.

Michael Dante DiMartino began his training at the Rhode Island School of Design where he graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Film and Animation Department. His directing credits include the primetime animated series King of the Hill, Family Guy, and Mission Hill. DiMartino wrote, animated, and directed the short animated film Atomic Love which screened at the 2003 Sundance and Los Angeles Film Festivals.  

Michael Dante DiMartino is the co-creator of the award-winning animated Nickelodeon series Avatar: The Last Airbender and its sequel, The Legend of Korra. He is also the writer of the graphic novels Turf Wars and Ruins of the Empire, the author of the fantasy novels Rebel Genius and Warrior Genius, and the creator and writer of the Audible audio drama Sundown: A Time Capsule Society Mystery.

His latest book is the coming-of-age YA novel, Both Here And Gone.

 Si eres fan del mundo de Korra y Avatar en general este cómic te va a encantar, en especial si empatizas o esperas conocer el desarrollo de Korrasami. En cuanto al producto, me llego en excelentes condiciones 9/10. Un par de esquinas venían algo dobladas pero es casi imperceptible. El material se ve de excelente calidad, las hojas son gruesas y me gusta que el libro sea un poco más grande que uno convencional, por lo que puedes apreciar mejor las ilustraciones; además, llegó un día antes de lo previsto lo cual se agradece.
Hablando del arte, está INCREÍBLE. Los colores, los planos y enfoques, la historia, TODO está perfectamente logrado, por lo que el precio vale cada centavo. Al final puedes encontrar notas adicionales, unos cuantos sketches y comentarios del proceso creativo. Lo recomiendo ampliamente 🩷 y se disfruta mucho más si acompañas la lectura con los soundtracks de la serie.
