Yeah, a little bit naughty, but with a solid story behind it, this was a very enjoyable read.
The above was for the Volume 1 and the following 3 volumes were as entertaining and delightful. The relationships become centered on the French women, Ariane and her various relationships, with both the people introduced in the first volume, but with others that we meet along the way.
I have criticized the use of serial stories by this writer, but having read the original volume, I was happy to purchase the rest of the completed story in this edition. The original volume allowed me to "test the waters " before committing to the full impact of the tale as it gradually unfolds. This book I have whole heartedly enjoyed.
I felt I needed to know how Marc and David handled being parents, I wanted to read more about how they cherish what they found with Ariana. I wanted to read some of Caroline's stories of her youth.
I feel like I've been left in an unfinished story........

I love Ms. Rigal's writing style and will definitely be reading more of her work. I really enjoyed all the descriptions of Paris. I have never been there, but the author painted some vivid pictures in my mind. I loved the idea of following the paths of several characters who meet at a series of cooking classes. It was fun and not too contrived. I also loved the through-going characters, the chef and her neighbors.
