I did my research, and as expected, I see what other parents were complaining about. I wish I could turn off all the babble that goes on during this "reading session". It's disruptive and annoying. My son is turning 3 and this just confuses him. When he touches the D or OG he doesn't want to hear talking. Just read the damn letters and words! I wish this was a setting option. Some card combinations of course don't form a word, I would say that may be another downfall for kids who are learning.
you touch letter Z. The pen says "zzzzz"
you touch letters AP. The pen says "touch an ending sound to make a word" (in other words, it did not register what you just touched)
you have to touch AP AGAIN for the 2nd time for it to say "AP. ZAP."
you touch letter Z and the pen says "Great sounds!" (again, is this a bug or what?)
you touch letter Z again and it says "zzzz"
I just want it to read what is on the card and not say anything else!
