Am a Texan, an independent, and have voted for Kinky every time he's made it to the ballot in a general election. Am an unabashed fan of his mystery novels, his music and his "Texas Attitude". And... that attitude, more than anything else, is what this collection of short essays is about. Really didn't realize he and I were so much in synch with our distaste for politicans, political parties, and all things political in general. Herein he (Kinky) describes his disgust. In my case call it "preachin' to the choir".
The essays are classic Kinky, rude, crude and to the point. But through it all he doesn't fail to express his love of the Texas freedom loving spirit, animals, and friends liberal & conservative. God Bless ya, Kinky; keep up the good work.

About the Author
Kinky Friedman lives in a little green trailer somewhere in the hills of Texas. He has five dogs, one armadillo, and one Smith-Corona typewriter. By the time you are reading this, Mr. Friedman may either be celebrating becoming the next governor of Texas or he may have retired in a petulant snit. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Politically Incorrect?Reviewed in the United States on 4 March 2013
Kinky Friedman is the most politically correct person I know and he shows it with his political incorrectness. Smart beyond words, his humor is deep and dark at times, while light and whimsical at other times. If the book says it is written by Friedman, I'm buying it... and usually, I am surprised each and every time because he is one unique individual.
