Product description

Product Description

She’s a high class call girl. He’s taking over his father’s business.
Seven years ago, they fell in love in Paris.
They walked away at the end of the summer, never imagining they’d meet again.
Now he’s her client.

We fell in love the way you jump from a cliff. Hard and fast with a reckless sense of abandon. The six weeks we spent together changed my life, but at seventeen, I was naive. I was a dreamer. A believer.
Now I’m twenty-four and cynical. I don’t believe in love. There’s no place for such emotions as a high class escort. The only things I’m allowed to feel are physical – and that’s why it’s so damn hard when the client of a last minute job turns out to be the man I left in France seven years ago. When he buys me for six weeks at triple my rate, my agent makes it clear I have no choice but to take the job despite our previous relationship. And my heart makes it very clear I have to stay firmly on top of the cliff this time.
Because for six weeks, I once again belong to Aaron Stone.

**Late Call is book one of the Call series.**

"Sexy, smart and sizzling, Late Call is addictive and brilliantly written!" - Kendall Ryan, New York Times Bestselling Author

No ... don't do that. Leave me hanging with a aching heart for both Aaron and Dayton. Intense ... this a wonderful, romantic and angst ridden tale ... I off to read the next part. There better be a happy ending.

When i read the descriptor for this book, i instantly thought of Pretty girl, meets rich guy, falls in love, happily ever after. But this book was so much more than that. It truly was about the strength of love and how it can transcend everything else.

Aaron and Dayton met in Paris, experienced a crazy summer of love, before going their separate ways. While Aaron carries on building the family empire, Dayton's life takes unexpected twists and she ends up being a high class call girl. Neither of them, though, have ever forgotten their time in Paris and the love that was born between them. When a chance meeting brings them face to face again, there's absolutely no denying that old feelings are still there, strong as ever, and that there just might be a chance to rekindle their passion for each other.

I loved that Dayton was a strong, independent woman, unashamed of the life she lived, but was also human, with fears and doubts. The chemistry between Dayton and Aaron was explosive, passionate and well written.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and couldn't wait to read on as the story continued in book #2.

I highly recommend!

OK, I am conservative, but no way a prude. With that said, call it what you will, escort, high class call girl, it still a whore. A job she chooses, not because she had no choice, but because of greed, and then she acts entitled, why I'm not sure. She deserves to be treated and spoken to any way he chooses. And what billionaire would even be the slightest bit interested, weather he loved her once or not, in a woman who is a whore? Any of the hundreds of men she has been with may recognize her and then what? Not your typical CEO to marry such a woman. So this is far fetched fiction. I like realism in my fiction and I couldn't relate to Dayton/Mia in any way. When she discovered his secret and left, why? Because now she decided to tell him she loved him. Boo Hoo. No empathy here. I know they end up together and I was hoping she had to pay for her actions not be rewarded.
I have already purchased the next story, Final Call and His Call, if I hadn't I would not have after reading this story. I have read your other stories and enjoyed them, thus this purchase. I just really, really despise Windsor and her righteous indignation and entitled attitude.
5.0 out of 5 stars Don't Fall in Love 10 May 2014

Seattle resident Dayton Black, 24, likes her career. She's good at it, the best of her corps of escorts by 300%. She works hard, has many repeat customers, pays her taxes, owns her own home, stays on top of fashion trends, dresses well, stays fit and takes good care of herself. Exercising, hanging out with her friend and reading are her three hobbies. After each customer, she showers away his essence. That's a lot of showers.
There are a number of rules Dayton has made for herself to be a success as an escort. Use an alias; pay up front; never exceed the contracted time; never get involved emotionally with a client; generously tip everyone who helps you along the way; pay for discretion; indulge yourself on your own time. Up until she is unexpectedly hired by Aaron, Dayton has followed her own rules scrupulously. She is proud of the way she is able to support herself. She gets along well with her boss, who treats her fairly, negotiates her contracts and schedules her appointments. The boss takes a percentage of Dayton's earnings. Dayton pays the money to her willingly, always setting aside that fee in a separate pocket of her purse. Dayton is a savvy and conscientious businesswoman.
It would be great if Dayton were on a college plan to finish up her degree. She joined the escort service in college to bail herself out of a sinking financial ship and the new job took over her higher education. She does not seem to be anticipating a time when she no longer has this career. When people ask her about her job, she lies and says she works in web design. She could, she's capable and intelligent. But no one in her life is giving her this sensible advice. Her parents have passed away and an aunt, a former escort, lives alone.
As for love, Dayton realizes that no relationship can survive the career she has chosen. So she has remained unattached. The models she encounters throughout the book have used their beauty in a way that society finds acceptable, and can fall in love and build families. Dayton's career is an either/or situation and she has not considered giving it all up for the possibility of love because she's on her own and she can't.
The love interest in this story, Aaron, is less well-developed. He's strong, he's emotional, he's insensitive, he's romantic, he's disciplined, he's generous, he's possessive, he's open and direct, he's dissembling -- he can be whatever the plot requires. In the seven years since they first met, Aaron has held a torch for Dayton, and yet did not look her up or track her down when his business took him to Seattle. Really?
Look forward to Book 2 and seeing how this talented author resolves this book's cliffhanger.

I had no expectation going into this book. The cover was hot, the blurb sold it and I decided to give it a go. I had never read anything by this author so going in I had no idea what to expect.

Well let me tell you, this was surprising and delicious.

I ADORED everything about this book.

It's sexy, fun, and sweet. Aaron is yummy!!!!!! He's alpha and takes what he wants. I wanted to lick him like a lollipop! I fell so in love! And Day the female lead was witty, snarky and strong. She kept me on the edge of my seat. I could not put this down.

I love when a book surprises me. 5 perfect Aaron and Day stars!

3.0 out of 5 stars Dayton & Aaron 21 May 2014

Almost gave this book 4 stars - a surprise ending which I didn't expect & will definitely leave me hanging until Book #2 releases! Dayton is a call girl, an escort, and it really isn't explained why she chose this drastic profession. Seven years ago she was traveling with her parents to Paris & at 17 years old Dayton fell in love with Aaron. They spent 6 passionate weeks together with the understanding this would be all they would have. I believe her parents pass away & in an act of desperation she becomes a call girl? This whole book is like that, a little vague, and the chemistry between Aaron & Dayton sometimes is fiery hot and then other times Dayton really seems cold & heartless. Come on, they agreed to leave Paris behind but that didn't mean that Aaron stopped loving her. And just because he bought her services for a few weeks to travel overseas for work, you can't hold that against Aaron. That is her profession & the only way to get her to spend time with him! Aaron works some serious magic trying to recreate the passion & love they shared so many years ago. He is in advertising & even offers Dayton a way out of her escort job as Aaron desperately wants Dayton to be with him permanently. Most of the story is a little boring until their love is rekindled & the sex gets way hot. And then the surprise ending! Left me with a little bit of a broken heart but at least it spiced up the story.

Really loved the storyline. Dayton is a high class escort who doesn't believe in love. She gets called into a job at the last minute, only to come face to face with her new client, the man she loved years ago, Aaron Stone. But love has no place in her life at at the moment, a job is a job. Aaron refuses to get the memo about that despite the circumstances. He may be paying Dayton for her time and services, but he wants her heart more than anything. I loved Aaron's persistence and how he did anything and everything to prove to Dayton that his intentions were sincere. While I liked Dayton, sometimes she was so aggravating and difficult with her resistance, although I know that was mostly to shield herself from any emotional entanglement because she was in self-preservation mode. But because Aaron knows her so well, he can read her easily and push past her walls. As for the twist, I didn't see that coming and while I was surprised, I'm interested to see what transpires next.
