Once again my eyes are hanging down with lack of sleep. Every time I read one of Robin Alexander books I promise myself I will read it over a few sessions. Nope nada did not happen. Laughing and crying at two in the morning as always. Then because I read it so fast I get to go back and read it all again I love all of your books you are a wonderfull story teller .if you have never read any of this author's books go on give yours a treat you will not regret it. A follow-up would be much appreciated but then I always hope that.would give more than five stars if I could.

This is yet another superb book from Robin Alexander. The humour had me laughing out loud more than once, and the interaction between all the characters was moving, amusing, and always totally believable.

As usual the author brings her regular mix of young to middle aged women looking for that perfect partner, eccentric and very entertaining senior citizens and wonderfully naive children.

The words spoken by Cricket, a woman approaching retirement, and Levi, a 5 year old boy, are worth the price of this book alone. The references to Dolphins are particularly hilarious - read it and you will understand!

Roll on Miss Alexander's next novel - it can't come soon enough.
