The angst, the "ugly cries" and the warm feelings (with a lot of other feelings mixed in) add up to one of the BEST books I've read all year!! (and I've read a lot)
I can promise you will absolutely LOVE this book as much as I do!! Jane Anthony definitely has a place in my top 5 favorite indy authors!! I haven't read a book of her's that I didn't love!! So please do yourself a huge favor and buy this book! You can thank me later... Enjoy!!
Jesse and Wren were best friends who experienced that first kiss, first love, and first heartbreak when he walked away from what was happening between them. Needing to come back for family obligations, Jesse is well aware that their explosive feelings still exist. But Wren has moved on and found someone else who feels safer, can give her security, and won’t tear her heart apart. Everything inside her knows that Jesse was the one she loved so deeply from the beginning. Can she turn away from what she still feels for him? Can she risk it all to give him a second chance to prove he won’t walk out on her this time?
This story was so well-written and intense that you truly need to experience it from beginning to end. It is powerful and a true emotional rollercoaster that will affect you as you share what Jesse and Wren are fighting for. This is one book you won’t want to miss reading.
Last First Kiss is a second chance romance filled with passion, angst, sweet boy next door mixed with a kick of hot alpha male and humor. The 90s vibe from this book will take you back to a simpler time.
The thing I love about this book is that Jane writes a story that isn't your typical "happily ever after". This book shows that love isn't perfect. Love is hard and it hurts, even when it's right. But the best things in life are the ones you have to fight for and the ones that you earn. That's exactly what Jessie does. It's hard not to love this broody artist.
The sign of a good book is one that can have you feeling every emotion in a span of a chapter; you can laugh one minute, cry the next, and then feel the need to chuck your ipad or kindle across the room.
This book is a must read <3
