About the Author
Roger Zelazny was a three-time Nebula Award and six-time Hugo Award-winning author of science fiction and fantasy classics, including the short stories "24 Views of Mount Fuji, by Hokusai," "Permafrost," and "Home is the Hangman." Zelazny was the bestselling author of the ten-volume Chronicles of Amber series of fantasy novels, as well as the novels Lord of Light, and Psychoshop (written with Alfred Bester). Zelazny's novel Damnation Alley served as the basis for the 1972 cult film of the same name, starring Jan Michael Vincent and George Peppard.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
But was disappointed to find the last 250 words missing from Roger Zelazny's, 'For a Breath I tarry'. From other comments I gather that other stories also have editing issues. Dorathy

zelazny is best known for some spectacular novels (Lord of light in particular) but his breadth of imagination superlative prose make his collections of short stories a must read for any fan of speculative fiction
These stories are mainly about AI and mind transfer, in which Zelazny seems to have a particular interest. The stories are excellent but the Kindle edition gets only 4 stars from me because chunks of text are missing in several places, which is especially disappointing because of the relatively high price of the Kindle edition.
This is a disappointing collection. This is a collection of Zelazny's short stories from a collection of the same name published in 2002. Unfortunately a much better collection under that name was published in the early 80s. That collection was remarkable and excellent. This one is mediocre and disappointing mostly for the omissions. So if you are looking for the 1980 publication in digital format don't buy this. Omissions which I missed, "Horseman", "Auto da Fey" "Damnation Alley" "Game of Blood and Dust" If you are looking for a good introduction to Zelazny this is not a bad place to start but again the original "Last Defender of Camelot" would have been better. Buy at your own risk.
