I downloaded Last Call at the Ringrose Pub from Amazon UK and read it over three days. I found it compulsive reading, couldn't put it down! Thoroughly enjoyed the story line and characters. Definitely my kind of book. In a way it was a pity the author rounded it off so well in the Epilogue, I would have enjoyed reading more of Erick, Rachel and company. Looking forward to his next publication.”

I highly recommend Last Call at the Ringrose Pub. Peter C. Foster's novel is thrilling, fast paced, addictive and insightful. I literally couldn't put it down! Set in vibrant Montreal, Last Call at the Ringrose Pub gives us a fascinating overview of the city and the inner workings of the taxi industry. The characters are interesting and the presence of strong female leads, who don't need men to rescue them, is refreshing. The story itself is compulsive and intriguing. If you're from Montreal, this book is like a stroll down memory lane but with extra insights into the history of our city. If you're not from Montreal, you'll definitely want to visit! If you haven't read Last Call at the Ringrose Pub, you're missing out!
This book held my attention right to the end. The descriptions are so realistic it was as if I was there on the streets of Montreal with the characters in the story. Excellent first novel!
Very enjoyable book. Loved the Montreal setting. I could picture exactly where thing were happening. Many interesting characters and a terrific ending!

This book, will be my favorite for quite some time!! Characters that you can almost see in your mind. Most of the characters are involved in the Taxi business in Canada. Whether as a driver or somehow involved with one of the drivers. Bad guys abound!! Can the good guys prevail? You'll have to read this book to find out.... PS, you might need score cards to keep track of all the players...lol.
