I have read they aren't UV resistant and will eventually fade, but just make sure you place them away from sunlight and they should be good.
They are very sticky and have stuck to all surfaces I've placed them on.
Recommended if you need them. They are 100% compatible with actual Dymo machines (as you'd expect).
Top international reviews
Ce n'est pas indiqué pour l'extérieur donc je mets 4* mais elles me paraissent chères pour une efficacité in fine réduite.
The thermally printed tape holds up much better to UV exposure than the labels.
Anything with an oily surface of any sorts does not stick nicely.
In my review I wish to focus on things that others have not, since you can read their reviews. The Dymo 450 Turbo printer is an extremely versatile tool, which uses this virtually indestructible Dymo "Durable" 1" x 3.5" Industrial Label. You can't tear this Polyester label with your hands (must be cut with knife or scissors). Will not react to chemicals, solutions, etc. Will not fade (below 120 degrees temperature). Will not run or discolor. And has an extremely aggressive adhesive that will adhere to almost any surface, including rougher ones. The only thing that I did not have the time or opportunity to test, is how UV resistant these might be, for outdoor labeling use. The sun can be pretty brutal, so it is an open question whether these will withstand UV rays. However, at only 10 cents per label, it would not be a big deal to have to replace them from time to time.
And since we are in the realm of labeling opportunities, allow me to focus on the possibilities beyond this particular "Durable" Dymo label, to which this review is covering. Besides this indestructible label, Dymo offers a vast array of adhesive and non adhesive labels to give utility to whatever is needed in the home or office environment. Within the Dymo software, you can make the selections listed below, as to label types, configurations, templates and sizes.
Label Sizes and Varieties available
• Multiple sizes (small to large) of address labels and formats, including bar codes as part of the address, either above the address or below, if desired.
• Return address labels
• Shipping labels of various sizes
• File folder labels, one up or two up
• Pendaflex-style hanging 1/5 cut
• Name badges, both adhesive and non adhesive
• VHS video spine labels
• Business card sizes
• Continuous non adhesive 2.25" x 300 ft. roll, for banner style printing
• CD/DVD labels 2 1/4" diameter for full face, or 1 1/3" diameter for the core adjacent to, and around the spindle hole
• Price tags
• Audio Cassette labels with a window in the center, that does not obstruct the view of the interior tape itself.

I have included a screen shot of the styling or template options available for this "Durable" 1" x 3.5" label. There is a pop up tab, activated when you click on that label size, showing you which styling options you can use. I found that the software is extremely intuitive, simple and very versatile insofar as what can be ported from the "on board" clip art or images from another source, such as what you have stored on your computer or what you can create in Word, since the program is compatible with most Microsoft programs.
Speaking of Clip Art which is embedded in the Dymo software, there is a wide variety of clip art images which can be inserted into Dymo's various sizes of labels. They fall into multiple categories, ranging from "business applicable" and pertinent images, all the way down to more personal and frivolous images which have a wide range, like email or texting emoji's. The categories of clip art available are:
• Arrows and Directional
• Many Business Related Icons
• Electrical Symbols
• Mailing and Shipping Related
• Miscellaneous (the more personal types of icons)
• Warnings and Emergency Icons
• Weather and Seasonal Images (holiday related)
Bottom line is that this "Durable" label is a super star when it comes to its namesake, "Durability". I will use it with supreme confidence that it will stand the test of time (at least in all indoor environments), no matter how harsh the environment is, such as one would encounter in industrial or warehouse conditions. Thus making it entirely suitable for home use, of any kind. Bravo to Dymo for a great ecosystem, beyond this one version of their labels. And although they are pricey, when you get right down to it, I think 10 cents per label is pretty reasonable, with this pack containing 700 labels at 69 bucks. If you need labels that will last beyond their intended use cycle, these babies cut the mustard.
This turns out to be the perfect solution for labeling the various storage containers in our garage and craft room. Especially in the garage where my husband has shelves of various plastic containers holding assorted screws, bolts, nuts, washers, nails and such, he has re-labeled his containers with these durable ones because they resist grease and grime much better than regular paper labels. Additionally, he has re-labeled some of my gardening containers and spray bottles which I store in the garage in hopes that they will resist the inevitable drips of the various organic liquids I use in my garden.
In the craft room, I have re-labeled some of my supply drawers and storage containers that get used frequently and whose paper labels have faded over time with extended use.
I also make some of my own cleaning products using organic materials. I've had real problems with every label on these as they are apt to get wet. I had resorted to using permanent markers directly on the bottles but even that was rubbing off.
I'm very pleased with this label and will be using them extensively in the future.
