This book is very enlightening and gives a comprehensive understanding of Nigerian politics. Hence a very good guide to people willing to be involved in any form of politics in their work place, business or career within Nigeria
It gives insight to solving peculiar problems facing Nigerians like poverty, corruption and also measures that can be implemented to ensure we have good healthcare, sound education, safe and secure environment and job creation.
I particularly like the layout of the book. The introductory chapter set the pace for the discussion and each chapter addressed the different problems with suggested solutions.
I like the way the book did not dwell on the problems rather the solutions were highlighted more.
The conclusion will be a very useful plan that new breed politicians could easily explore.
5.0 out of 5 starsFactual and Liberating Content. Just Brilliant

Having read the book, I can strongly say that it was passionately written by a brilliant Nigerian who believes that Nigeria can and will flourish again.
The simplicity of language and the clarity of the fonts are endearing and stimulating. I found it hard to drop the book until I was done reading it!
Before reading Liberating Nigeria, I was an active member of the educated middle-class group that believe that Nigerian politics is dirty and can be ventured into by people that are ready to play dirty. I now have a clearer and in-depth understanding of Nigerian politics and my orientation has changed.
Addressing national issues in separate dedicated chapters, not by dwelling on the myriads of problems plaguing us as a nation but suggesting viable and creative ways of solving them present the author as a brilliant, progressive and optimistic Nigerian. These are the same issues that younger Nigerians would rather rant about on social media without preferring workable solutions.
I particularly love the idea of negotiation and compromise as strategies for winning election as suggested to the new breed politicians. They are brilliant ways of wrestling power from the present crop of corrupt rulers that we have. Moreover, younger Nigerians really need to master these strategies and apply not just in national politics but also at work and even within the family.
I found the author's standpoint on 'stomach infrastructure', funding for campaigns, zoning and so on very apt and practicable.
The use of verifiable facts and figures to drive home germane points thereby giving credence to his assertions boggle my mind.
I read the chapter on security with keener interest not just because we sleep with one eye open in Nigeria but because of the trending 'Operation Amotekun'. To think the book was published just before the launch of the security outfit by the South West governors tells me that the author really knows his onions. My reservations about state policing were addressed in the book and I am at peace with the suggested ways of tackling our security challenges in Nigeria.
I recommend Liberating Nigeria to all optimistic Nigerians, especially to the young, tech-savvy,arm-chair critics who use their fingers to complain about the gory state of the nation on social media. We all need to learn the strategies needed to wrestle power from the corrupt rulers and make Nigeria great again.

After reading this book, I have ordered copies for a few people and the general comment is that it's been extremely informative. Nigeria cannot change except patriotic people get into power. This book has given me hope that it is indeed possible for patriotic people to win elections but that process must start immediately without delay. Every Nigerian that is passionate about change in our country needs to read this book. I am willing to play my part from today, even if it is join a political party and donate money or time towards it.
