Adorable ballerina little golden book

The story of a little ballerina is very sweet. It is a story of a little girl about to do her first ballerina recital. The book goes through the five positions in ballet and more.

The illustrations take the book to a whole other level. My grandchildren have several Joey Chou prints in each of their bedrooms so I am always looking for something with his artwork. When I found this story, both the mother and the daughter reminded me of my daughter and granddaughter so I had to buy the book. I even have a picture of our little one which looks like it belongs in the book.

Very sweet and, as always, Golden Books are such a wonderful bargain. I had them as a child, bought them for my children, and am now buying them for grandchildren. Amazingly, we still have most of the books that have been in my family for decades.

My 3-year old girl liked the book a lot. She is getting interested in ballet and this book explains what it's all about in a very simple manner. I recommend it for little girls who are ready to start their ballet classes and want to know more about them.

My ballet-obsessed toddler insisted on reading this book over and over... and over... and over.... and now she has it memorized. It's not a classic Little Golden Book, but the illustrations are adorable and the story is sweet.
