The sculpt and paint details are above and beyond, and the likeness to Gal Gadot is probably the best I've seen on a collectible item based on her, couldn't be more impressed. The option to have her posed with either her solo movie or Dawn of Justice sword and shield were a huge plus for me, as I definitely prefer the BvS accessories. Also, I favor the fact that she is made of PVC as opposed to other collectible statues made of harder, more breakable material. Additionally, her 1/6 scale height (about 12") really helps her stand out as a display piece.
If I had one minor issue with the statue, it's that I wish they would have included two lower right arms, each with either sword in hand, just like she has two left arms with either shield, to make it easier to switch between the swords as it is a bit of a task and risk of breakage with attaching and removing the swords from her hand. But overall, pleased beyond words, so happy and amazed with this Wonder Woman statue, I'd highly recommend her for any Wonder Woman fan!
The reasons I DON'T like it .... it's WAY overpriced. Other versions of this are selling for less than half of what this one is and this doesn't have any better features or quality. It's nice that you can swap out her gear, but in order to get the sword in and out of her hand, you have to carefully squeeze it into her fist. If I'm paying this much for a statue, it should come with a separate hand for the sword like it does for the shield. I have no idea how fragile this is and I don't like risking a break just because the sword is part of the statue, but not already in her fist. I also don't like the pose.... she looks like she's a fashion model, not a warrior princess. Lastly, the strap that she wears around her is glued on mine, but the one connection isn't aligned. Looks like it was done for convenience and not placed carefully for detail. Again, if I'm paying this much, this better come in perfect condition.
Overall, it's a nice statue and does look a lot like Gal, but the sellers need to drop the price by AT LEAST half. There's nothing on or about this that makes it worth so much.
-Great overall effect
-Clear quality sculpting and painting
-Same scale (1:6) as the DC Collectibles figures, so displays well with those
-As mentioned by other reviewers, getting her sword into her fist was nervewracking. I did eventually get there with her Godkiller sword; I have yet to understand how you would possibly get the BvS one in as it has a bulb on the pommel. Pro-tip: The little tips on the end of the pommel of the Godkiller will fold back. Firmly but carefully push the sword through her fist from the pommel side and then re-bend the tips into position once you have the sword in place.
- I just don't love the pose. It looks more sexy-coquettish than warrior-womanish. The sculpting and painting are so clean and careful that it still displays very nicely, but I wish they had chosen something a little more bold.
- Addition of BvS sword and shield are nice but not that useful if I can't figure out how to actually USE them. Would have been happy to skip those and save a few bucks.
This product comes with two swords and two shields (from both of her movies in Justice League and Wonder Woman). It also comes with her non-removable Lasso of Truth on the side.
Cons: This is the only pose you can do, which means you can't give her that signature pose X with her gauntlets. You can detach half of both of her arms but that's about it. It was difficult to put the sword in her hand but with a little force, you can fit it in.
I also think the figure is overpriced, considering you can't pose the figure any other way than what you see in the pictures. However, I find the pose of the figure to be very beautiful in showing her elegance and power.
Though I received this product months ago, I'm reviewing it now because I was waiting for my Superman figure to arrive.
None of the photography above were photoshopped. Some I used flash photography, vivid photopraphy, and just one with no flash/vivid on my Samsung S6. Should be easily identifiable.
