Great cozy mystery series...Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 September 2020
Great read!!Reviewed in Canada on 27 August 2020
I was gifted the first book of the Mary Marks series several years ago. I was entranced by the world of characters she created. She creates scenes of humor, scenes of endearment and always there is the mystery of who did the crime. For quilters she sprinkles in descriptions of the styles and techniques of this craft. I have purchased every book in this series, and eagerly await for the newest novel of this series that Mary Marks writes. One of my favorite authors and series.
Superb! If only I could give it six stars!Reviewed in the United States on 31 July 2020
A fantastic addition to the Martha Rose series, this story combines beloved existing characters with some great new additions, and sees Martha in top form as fiancée, mother, grandmother, niece, loyal friend and amateur homicide detective! With a setting in a California cult Martha and her Tuesday Quilters have their work cut out to save their friends, find the killer and not get killed themselves in the process. This series goes from strength to strength. If you are new to Martha Rose, buy them all and start reading at number one. You might want to stock up on some sweet treats as well, as putting the books down will be a challenge. And there is also a thread of quilting throughout. Honestly, what’s not to love! Keep writing Ms Marks, we need Martha’s next adventure!

Awesome mystery with some of my favorite characters!Reviewed in the United States on 9 August 2020
As usual, another excellent book in an awesome series. I just love Martha and the usual cast of characters. In this book Martha's friend Birdie is back in the area but she and her husband Denver are about to make a big mistake by selling all their earthly possessions and joining a commune. Well you know Martha is going to check this whole thing out before she let's her friend make a big mistake! What follows in murder and mayhem and lots of time with some of our favorite people!!! This is a great mystery which I didn't figure out but has a very satisfying ending.
Great new book from Mary Marks!Reviewed in the United States on 13 August 2020
Mary Marks had created a wonderful series with likeable characters and wonderful, inventive situations. You think you are reading a mystery about quilters, but you are learning about different cultures and regions. Each mystery addresses an issue that is a current problem in our nation. Her latest book high lights our favorite characters and adds new ones as well. The writing is so well done that you find yourself drawn into the neighborhood with Martha, Birdie, and Lucy. If you reread the series as I have, you will see how they progress from a small, closed group to adding more and more friends and family. I want to go to Quilty Tuesday and have a slice of Birdie's homemade applesauce cake! Each book shows the characters growing and embracing life with enthusiasm that most writers reserve for younger humans!
