I loved KNIGHT and the way we got to watch Smith and Lydia's relationship grow from f**ked up circumstances was sweet and endearing even with what happened when Lydia returned to Chicago. The structure of this story is exceptional. I missed not having Smith's POV throughout which is why I marked it down a star but it is still VERY good!
This is one story where it could have played out over 2 books(IMO) and a bit more of the story with Rebecca and Tucker fleshed out along with her parents, Mentor and Lydia's art.
NOTE TO AUTHOR: I devour all of your books and I highly appreciate the editing as there is rarely a grammar or any misspelled words, so thank you. And in each story, there is NO repetitiveness, a big pet peeve of mine. You must have an excellent memory and or go to great length to make sure that not one thing is remotely that same from book to book. That is an amazing talent and is harder to do than most may think because many writers have a style and groove and a pocket at which they write which is good but you take things up a notch by changing with each of your different series. Well done and again thank you x :) I wish you continued success.

This book is hard hitting and you need to be aware that it may not be to everyone's taste as it deals with rape and torture and kidnapping.
it is a long story to get to the end and find happiness with the one she loves but I won't give the whole thing away.
I found it easy to understand without reading the ones before this one so the choice is yours to read out of order I guess....
Thin plot with minimal action other than what goes on in HER head and between her legs. A bit of OTT brutality, and a HERO who must be taking a box-full of Viagra every day. Too much content is barely believable. Hero killing MC is stupid and grossly unprofessional - MC is only link to Mentor.
