Product Description

Bestselling author Sherry Ewing presents the continuing saga of the MacLaren's in A Knight To Call My Own.

When your heart is broken, is love still worth the risk?

Lynet of Clan MacLaren knows how it feels to love someone and not have that love returned. After waiting for six long years, she has given up hope of Ian's return. Her brother-in-law, the Devil's Dragon of Berwyck, is tired of waiting for her to choose a husband and has decided a competition for the right to wed Lynet is just the thing his willful charge needs to force her hand.

Ian MacGillivray has returned to Berwyck Castle in search of a bride and who better than the young girl who cared for him all those years ago. But Lynet is anything but an easy conquest and he will need more than charm to win her hand in marriage.

From the English borders to the Highlands of Scotland, the chase is on for who will claim the fair Lynet. The price paid will indeed be high to ensure her safety and even higher to win her love.

Novel, A Knight to Call My Own. Wow, could Sherry Ewing do any better than the two previous Novels? For All and Ever. & Only For You. (A Quest through Time series) absolutely YES!! The first Novel For all And Ever was a travel back in Time for Katherine to Riorden, A Knight in Olde England. As hard as it was for Katherine to keep her Knight in focus when she saw his ghostly form, and scared Riorden who knew not of who he was seeing in her strange attire, but eventually Katherine broke through the time warp to be with her Knight in shinning armour. Then come For All And Ever, Where an English Knight takes a Castle for His King then falls for the Lairds daughter Amiria, who for quite a long time appeared to Dristan as a lad not the daughter of the Keep he had taken as his own. Theirs too was a rocky road to bring these two together, but don't you just love a great drama in the stories. Not an easy beginning for either of them. Next A Knight to Call My Own. Lynet being the younger sister of Amiria who from the age of Fourteen loved a Knight named Ian. At the time Ian had only eyes for Amiria, but once Ian realised Amiria was falling in love with the Dragon Knight Dristan, Ian left never to be heard from again or at least for the next six years. Then needs happened that Ian became a Laird after the death of his brother, he also had need for a wife of his own choosing, Ian's memories traveled back to the fourteen year old blonde with beautiful blue eyes, so he set off to make request of her hand in marriage, no being a Laird he was an equal in the eyes of the Nobles. Again this is not as easy a quest as first hoped as there is a tournament to be gotten through and to the winner goes the hand of Lynet.Read more ›
