I have arthritic knees and from the reviews I thought this would help me. I do have large thighs but I did manage to get it round them. I could not bend my knee without the straps at the back digging in, so I am returning it because it would not be comfortable for me walking. I am very disappointed and will be going back to the kinesiology tape which I find does support the painful area for me. I was hoping to get something equally supportive that was re-useable.
Great support and the wrap-around tabs keep it securely in place during exercise. However, would benefit from a solution to stop the edges of the tabs nipping at the skin behind the knee. Although I wouldn't quite know how it could be included as part of the product itself. A little nipping is a small price to pay given the level of support the product offers. It’s easy enough to combat yourself if you have the same problem. I just used micropore surgical tape that solved it for me
I ordered this in the hope that it would support my knee whilst running the Virtual London Marathon 2020 - I was not disappointed. Wearing this allowed me to complete the distance without experiencing any knee pain which had been an issue for me in training (anything over 16 miles and my knee was agony [ITBand]). Initially I was dubious about the product as it felt thick and I thought it would inhibit my running but once out running I forgot I was wearing it. Also no rubbing or chafing. Definitely recommend!
Bought for my knee which is doing a lot of crunching & grinding. Thus had helped enormously to give my knee support as I work 12 hour nights in a nursing home. I would thoroughly recommend this item and seller.
Used this brace for about 3 months, for about 30 minutes every other day. Initially the velcro straps provided the appropriate amount of tension, however after limited use the area of cloth where the velcro grips has become scuffed up and the velcro will not stay in position., therefore the brace is not gripping as it should.
The Brace is quite comfortable but would be more so if the Velcro's straps behind the knee had the hooks on the underside so that, if you haven't quite aligned the two straps of Velcrosed together, the hooks wouldn't rub onto your skin. Also I did find it pinched a little behind my knee. However, it does give firm support.
Gives good support and doesn't need to be very tight but as you'd expect from a well strapped knee support it does feel a bit bulky to start with. Been for 1.5hour walk, mostly flat, without any problem.
