Couldn't stop reading it!

I loved Wes and Lauren's story! Another fantabulous book by Judy Corry! I can't remember where the quote came from, but it's kind of like Romeo and Juliet but without all the dying. Lol! And that she added in the little tidbit about Charlotte - a main character from a previous book in this series - reading the "Sweet Valley High" books that I read growing up, I about died with giggles. This book is 100% clean: no swearing and no sex. It's still so refreshing to get good, clean, and yet still oh-so-swoony romances consistently every time. Way to go, Judy!

Teen drama with messy real life situations

I have read several of Jody’s books and so have wanted to read this one for a while so I grabbed it up when she put it on sale. I decided to start it late in the evening early morning and was intrigued enough I stayed up the rest of the night. I slept a few hours and then spent half the day reading to finish it up. Lauren we are introduced to slightly from another series or at least her hit twin cousins that lived in sweet water for a short time. But in this story we get to see two best friends reconnect after their parents have been fighting for 5 years. Wes and Lauren uncover their mystery of the “feud” to allow themselves to hang out again but what they didn’t anticipate was uncovering some big secrets and a romance and deep feelings for each other. This was a clean sweet romance with some intense kissing.

Sweet with a twist

Judy Corry’s, Kissing The Boy Next Door, the 3rd YA novel in the Sweet Water High Series is a tender read with plenty of romance and enough twists to keep the reader turning the pages.
Lauren Carmichael and Wes Schultz were inseparable in grade school, but a family feud between their parents separated the two friends for years. Now that Lauren has joined the track team, Wes and Lauren are thrown together over and over and before long sparks begin to fly. As time goes on both Lauren and Wes are determined to solve the mystery of their parents' feud and loss of friendship, but what they find will forever change the course of all their lives.
A sweet read with plenty of family drama and romance, Kissing The Boy Next Door will be sure to please any reader at any age. A great continuation of the Sweet Water High Series.
