Product Description

This novel, along with all others in this series, is a standalone with no cliffhanger. You're welcome.

“Trust me – If there’s one thing I’m not attracted to, it’s the shrieking, overly-dramatic shrew that’s taken over my sister’s apartment. And what is up with her hair? I know what I want; an easy, uncomplicated lay – and Cecelia Carter sure as shit isn’t one. But I never could resist a challenge, and vow to wipe that condescending grin off her pretty face. Aw, shit. Did I just call her pretty..?” – Matthew Wakefield

"Trust me - If there's one thing I'm not attracted to, it's an arrogant, selfish and foul-mouth hockey player. I know what I want; someone who’s good for my body and soul and makes me laugh - and Matthew Wakefield isn't any of those things. I cannot stand the sight of him; I mean, what a jackass. If I refuse to give him anything but sass and sarcasm, it's only because he deserves it…” - Cecelia Carter

This book is intended for those 17 and older. If you're offended by cursing (particularly "F" bombs), sarcasm, sexual situations and Alpha Male jackasses - this book is not for you...

I loved this book! It was easy reading and the dialogue between the main characters was hilarious. If you are looking for light hearted comedy with side of romance this book is for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars How do I love this book...let me count the ways. 16 February 2015
By Megan B - Published on

Okay first of all I read quite a few reviews before the book and I noticed people commenting on grammar mistakes and type-is. I read a lot of books from mainstream books at the bookstore to free self published books and everything in between. I tend to not be too focused on stuff like that. I mean no offense but it cost 99 cents so I wasn't expected too much in that department.

Now on to the review.

Most romance books have Similar elements lately...
1) a secretly attractive virgin or almost virgin
2) extremely hot leading man who is successful, driven, intense yet has time to sleep with every female that he comes across
3) there is some secret or element that threatens to keep them apart
4) more crazy drama in a few weeks than happens in most people's lifetimes.
5) guy has never had a girlfriend yet magically morphs from player to the most caring, observant, and romantic boyfriend ever for this girl
6) he finds her unbelievably attractive yet other guys seem to over look her

Well let me tell you that these aren't found here....thankfully. Don't get me wrong that's fine sometimes in my fantasy life but this book seemed like it could almost happen to me. The guy is flawed from beginning to end. He doesn't know what he is doing but you love him for it. I laughed out loud quite a few times because it was just that funny.

Simply this is an awesome book minus the drama but adding the flaws. I even went back to high school and read the first book which I originally thought I would be too old to read. I like this style of writing because it's almost like hearing someone's thoughts instead of reading a book.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed 9 January 2015

This book for me was a complete disappointment. First it turned the two characters I loved from the first book in the series, Wes and Molly, to complete annoying jerks. So sad I really liked them and at least a dozen times in this book I wanted to smother them. Now to the main characters what can I say booooring, God on more than one occasion I skimmed the book the internal dialogue was horrid and drawn out. The characters Cecelia and Matt definitely did not act their age come on they were 22 and 23 respectively and it took them 80% of the book to just kiss grrrr annoying. And let's not even mention the kiss scene it was absolutely ridiculous so amateur. Then in the last couple of chapters the main characters are in love, date and move in together. Definitely not worth reading or buying.

5.0 out of 5 stars It was funny, the romance was sweet 2 January 2015

This is one of those books that I truly believe deserves the 5 star reviews it receives. It was funny, the romance was sweet, the characters were developed. I read it and couldn't put it down. I know Matt came off as a sarcastic a-hole but that didn't bother me for some reason. Probably because I like sarcastic a-holes. The h was down to earth, witty and the banter and texts between them was very entertaining. I write books myself and I do this because there are simply not enough books that are written like this one. I write what I like to read. I'm glad I found this author. I read the 1st book in her series right after I finished this one. The only downfall is the typos. I read and reread and I send to an editor and yet I still find typos in my own work so I understand the struggle. However - this book is doing very well sales-wise and when I say there are quite a few typos, I'm not kidding. Just needs a bit of polish and it will be perfect. I think this author is great and I look forward to reading more of her work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Could not stop laughing..... 21 February 2015

I loved this book! Sara Ney has such a gift of writing believable, hilarious characters. This book picks up where Kissing in Cars left off and I loved catching up with all the characters. The relationship between Matthew and Molly was as great as ever, but I think my favorite parts were the interactions between Weston and Matthew. Matthew was an even bigger tool than he was in the first book, but he was too funny not to love him at least a little. Being inside Matthew's head was hilarious and the banter between Cecelia and Matthew was awesome. There were so many parts that had me laughing out loud, I can't wait for Sara's next book!

I loved everything about this book! This book is so stickin' hilarious. There has been times when I couldn't contain my laughter!

I loved the characters. They're so relatable. It's hard to not love them. They seem so real. The main character is usually eating junk food and is always in her yoga pants or in sweats. I love that. It's not so typical in many novels. It easily makes me connect to her(:

If you are looking for a romantic comedy, this is your book!
