Now that that's out the way, I really did enjoy this book once I got over those pages. The story is told well and while it can be read as a stand alone, it makes more sense if you start at book one of the series. I like the author's writing style as she isn't afraid to just shoot it straight and not mince any words.
I loved Nix, there is so much more to him that you finally get to see, he is all heart and has a filthy mouth I just couldn't resist.
Synne has been through a lot but she is badass and I had to love her and her unwavering loyalty.
All in all, it was a good book that had me on the edge of my seat with anticipation and emotion. The sexy times were beyond hot and more than once I needed a little ice cream to cool me down.
This is my honest and unbiased review.
There are twists, turns and surprises throughout this book. Some of the surprises you may see coming, while others you won't. Some of the surprises are large and some are small. Some may hit you square in the face while others may pull on your heart strings. But each and everyone of them hold equal importance within the story.
If your anything like me you might want to make sure you have tissues handy, I cried a few times. I went through the emotions along with each of the characters. There were a few times I wanted to smack the main male character, but he pulled His head out of his are and redeemed himself.
I really enjoyed this book, I love each of the characters.
Heroine spoiled whole story- she was so lame and too sweet for my liking. Hero refers to previous relationships too much.
