Konstantin was a Russian Bratva leader now living in England. He was a respected businessman who had moved from Russia for a better life for his son. Konstantin was an enigmatic man who had few friends but had met a young woman who brought sunshine into his life until he learned Cassie had become engaged. They met again when he purchased a company where she now worked, and he was able to convince her to help him with research on a Bratva enemy. On learning that the engagement had ended, Konstantin hoped there would be a chance for them in the future. There was a chemistry between them they Konstantin could not resist and hen her life is in danger he moves her into his home for sake keeping, only to be abducted by his enemy. I enjoyed this book and found the complicated relationship between Konstantin and Cassie's addictive reading. The story ends with her abduction and will continue in the next book of the series.
