Product description

Product Description

Various acts of violence involving assault, torture, harassment, and sometimes even murder, have been carried out against members of the LGBT community. Homosexuals, bisexuals and transgender people have also faced constant discrimination in their everyday lives on the basis of their sexual orientation. This discrimination against members of the LGBT community stems from religious beliefs, political views, bias or even internal fear.

This book depicts the history of Gay Rights Movement and several true accounts of violated men and women, includes the most recent shootings at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

"This subject can be very touchy for some. I respect RJ for writing a book on the LGBT!!!. The subject of lesbian's or gays however is not touchy to me. My daughter is a lesbian. Reading this book educated me into understanding how far back the hate goes!! It's a very educational read for those of us that are caring enough to want to understand. It's a sad world that we live in. Hate crimes against LGBT is a serious problem all around the world!!! Thank you RJ for writing such a wonderful book!!!! A must read!!!!" - Amanda

"A very informative book on the subject of the LGBT community. The book explains the trials and tribulations that many have had to endure. Many have been attacked and many have faced unbelievable discrimination, all because they wanted to be who they are. The book contains factual stories of many of the cases. This is a great book to read, many that can't understand what many go through, will be informed." - M Fabregas

What a wonderful book full of insight that most of do not know about. The LGBT has been targeted for so many "Stupid and Uneducated Reason". This book talks about the recent and past deaths of LGBT's, all of them very very sad. Their community has been faced with violence, hate and persecution for a long time. They have been targeted in many violent crimes over the years. The perpetrators of these hate crimes believe that the LGBT defy the gender rules and are not fit to be part of the society when in fact the perpetrators themselves are not fit to be part of the society!!! They have endured violence, assault, torture, harassment, discrimination and murder over the last 50 years.

A very insightful look at reality today. A great book to read you may learn a thing or two, I did!!!

This is a very well-written book by Author RJ Parker about a very sensitive subjective - the LGBT movement. It begins with the history from the earliest days right on through present day with rallies for the LGBT community. The book also highlights some of the horrific crimes that have been committed against people who chose a different lifestyle. It is an excellent book and contains a lot of excellent information

This book discusses violent acts towards the LGBT community. It will teach you about various laws that used to be in place against homosexuality, to how they are seen and treated by some who do not think they should be allowed to live the way they want; from beatings to torture and even murder. A fascinating read by RJ Parker.
